Good patience on your hunt. I would have been tempted to shoot but I probably would have passed as well. I am looking for at least a 150 inch buck. A nice doe is a great reward when bowhunting. If you do not get your monster during archery season you still have the gun season.
man if i was yall that deer would have been mine.. i like killin big bucks but i also like eatin em to. and if i dont shoot what i can then i wont get nothin to eat. and a buck like that was a nice one. i shoot anything that comes near me cause i hunt on state cause i aint got my own property so if i dont shoot them someone else will. even if i had property i would have shot it. i would let like 4 and 6 points walk bujt not a nice buck like that..
Good pass. Ohio corn fed bucks get a lot bigger than that guy. I even notice the difference in Ky where I live---Ohio deer tend to be thicker and heavier
good job guys , sumtimes you have to pass on smaller class deer to have a chance at trophys althou im not sure i would have passed on that one but everyone has a diferent hunting situation, good video
i hate this kind of hunting were you take it madly srsly, but oni some cumfy cloths, not £250 camo gear, get out to the woods and do some stalking man! its takes WAY more skill and is WAY more fun.
i dont dissagree with this method i just dont like it
That's a decent buck. I've passed on some nice one's too. You don't get the dominant trophy bucks by shooting a decent average buck. However.......Sometimes toward the end of the season. You wish you would have WHACKED-HIM. How did that season end up for you?
i have a little rule, never pass on a deer opening day that you would be more than happy to shoot closing day. that being said nice self control. i would of let him have it....where im from thats a great deer
that's because the deer are much smaller in the southern part of the country. i lived in SC for a while and they looked like little german shepherds running around. deer here in ohio are much thicker in antler mass and body size due to diet and weather
for the people who say they are meat hunters and you can't eat the antlers. i am a meat hunter too. but if you shoot the little bucks that hurts the heard. let the little ones go shoot the older more mature bucks. not to mention you let that little one go he will b bigger next year. i mean the doe to buck population in most places is outrageous. i don't look down on people who shoot small bucks, but i won't do it until end of the season if i haven't killed a deer.
dude im 11 turnin 12 in april but just last summer i got my hunting lisence and i didnt have a bow till christmas and so i only went gun hunting once with my 243 and we were on the ground so we got busted but that i would taken
I'm 16 and i shot my first deer when i was 12 with a bow....we hunt in morenci michigan and i must say....i shoot just about anything that passes by me..i am a eat hunter...lol...you can't eat the rack!....but anyways i would not of even hesitated shooting that buck!
im 14 and thinking of getting into bowhunting, cuz wher i live theres deer , goats, turkeys , rabbits. im mainly gonna go for the goats. any tips would be appreciated.
Bunnies and small game make great learning tool to sharpen your accuracy... Plus they taste great! My advice is to find an archery shop there local, and start asking questions there. If you have any specific questions, let me know and I'll try my best to help
Way to go. Not many younger hunters would pass on a small buck like that. I live and hunt in Ohio and I know what this state has to offer and that buck had about another year or two to go before he's ready. Great video more younger hunters need to see this.
Good choice...great patients and a great management trigger finger! I hope it pays off for you! Not only was he a young one...but an old buck would have run halfway across the state at the first whiff he got off you guys! Nice work!
hye man htats decent buck you passed on there. but good job waitng. im only 15 so i would of wacked that bucka dn he would of been hanging on the wall.
Very good job with being patient, I live in Cincinnati, I know that was a good decision to let him walk. We have much much bigger bucks than that one. Remember, you shoot the small ones, they won't get any bigger.
You must be hunting some really good land, That's a trophy where I live, and he'd be hanging on the wall with that opportunity. Good to know you have patience though.
Great to see somebody show some patience and not jump the first shot just because it seems to be an opportunity. That's what makes a good hunter in my book.

if you want meat, get a nice, young, fat doe. If you want a wall-hanger, I guess you get to wait.......

its hard for most people to pass up a shot at a deer, especially a buck.
no need to kill one you don't need or want.
