  • Should go back there and see if you can catch more dewirements on that corner.

  • @mad5210 I likely will. I doubt SEPTA has re-aligned the overhead properly yet....

  • Nice catch on two dewirements of the Septa E40LFR's. I have never been able to catch a dewirement on video as of yet.

  • @busrailfan

I saw the first one dewire out the corner of my eye. I decided to wait for the next Cottman short-trip just to see if it was just a fluke or not. Nope, definitely a problem there. I didn't have room to tape it, but the 3rd Cottman turn dewired as well.

I love how the first driver immediately turned on the EPU after he dewired. The second driver left his EPU on even after putting the poles back up; he shut it off after going up the block.

  • @trainman1971 - Yes I was noticing this! Was very interesting to see! I live only 13 hours drive from Vancouver and have recorded some of their E40LFR and E60LFR Trolley coaches, but I must get to Philly and check theirs out in the near future! I need to win the lottery!

  • @busrailfan

I had visited Edmonton as well earlier this year. I had been planning to get trackless trolley action there, and then found out I was 2 years too late about two months before my trip... darn it!

  • And Skytrain sounds in the background too.

  • @busrailfan Yep! :)
