  • @YuleDog1 ??????????????? excuse me?????

  • @COLLENGIRL I agree, I think he should've done more rock albums, and sang at Live Aid for power station!

  • The frickin' 80's! Andy Taylor looks different from his Duran Duran neo-retro look... letting his hair down and going for the metal rocker persona! Yes, with all the cool things this decade has to offer, Duran Duran, Miami Vice, Don Johnson, Phillip-Michael Thomas, Ferraris, pastel/retro fashion, pop, rock /metal music, and Andy Taylor! What a time to be alive in! The 80's ROCKED!

  • Terry Bozio on drums?

  • Vice of Miami Andy Taylor (Duran Duran) & Steve Jones (Sex Pistols)

  • 80's hotties :)

  • 8 people are afraid of the rain

  • @zestydude87 1,762 people don't understand why Miami Vice makes them Cry (Godley & Creme).

  • Terry Bozzio kicks ass!!!

  • Joder, pero q Bueniiisima!!

  • now here's a supergroup. i mean, you have Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), Andy Taylor (Duran Duran, Power Station, Robert Palmer) and Terry Bozzio (Frank Zappa, Missing Persons...more recently Korn)...not sure who the bass player is but oh man does this song rock...23 yrs later.

  • steve jones con la les paul blanca, algunas partes de guitarra son bien reconocibles estilo pistols.

  • Very good voice, I also wonder why he didn't take the lead vocals when Robert Palmer could not do the Power Station gig

  • one of the greatest guitarists of all time, i was blessed with seeing him live and oh yeah i got thunder!

  • from left to right Ex-Missing Persons members bass Patrick O'Hearn and drums Terry Bozzio with ex-Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones

  • 1987... This entire album is fantastic! Wish he would have made more than just this one. Very underrated as a guitarist, and vocalist. Al least he can feel the love here

  • I didn't know he was a vocalist...how'd I miss that?

  • Superb AOR sound!!! btw everybody uses this sunglasses in a nowadays again..lol

  • GambitCards, I've listened to the song and think I have the right chords for the song, I'll try to get around to tabbing it and putting it on "Ultimate Guitar".

  • Brilliant vid! In the 80's they knew how to make the music and the videos!

  • Always thought that he was one of most talented in tne group....not sure why he neer caught on as a solo act....

  • He is a cracking guitarist and a far better vocalist than that tosser Le Bon. And he is a Geordie to boot!!!!

  • Hmm..maybe it was a good thing he left Duran Duran.

  • nobody got a guitar tab or the chords for this sweet little piece of music?

  • He has his soul in every word in his song, song is so live!

    Thank you for uploading!!!

  • i love andy

  • Yep, that's Steve Jones.

  • man, 80's chicks are hot. they would be milfs today

  • It's Steve Jones on the white guitar.

He later formed the band Neurotic Outsiders Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses), and John Taylor (Duran Duran).

  • i don't care if it was a kit car. i wish they hadn't blown it up

  • Always liked Andy's voice. Thanks for posting.

  • they werent brothers, just had same last name

  • I ts cool digging into this history, duran duran, hmm let me see ,2 brothers in the band, andy is the guitarist of them both?He gave alot of cool licks to the band!Invite him over to dinner sometime and he will rock your socks off, true guitarist there!

  • @rockhollar andy, john, and roger are not related. none of them are brothers.

  • @rockhollar funny that none of the 3 Taylors were related to each other in any way.

  • Andy Taylor Knows How to Kick Ass What A Great Hook For A

Song And Take It Easy Is Another One Pure American Rock !!

  • All great musicians, but bad song. Saw them live at Mountain air concert.

  • MIAMI - VICE . WS

  • Cool,almost timeless tune.

  • What a great band. Taylor,Bozzio,O'Hearn and Steve Jones...I knew once he first left Duran in '85 he was gonna rock out....

  • Of all the duranies, andy is the one with that " rock " element trapped inside him, guess this was his escape, what a talented guy, very underrated.

  • Oh so true...He also produced Rod Stewart...Very talented is an understatement.....

  • bad ass!!! rock

  • Andy Taylor kicks ass! He is a woefully under appreciated artist.

  • @ManicNole

soooo right. This guy could play man...so underrated

  • the best

  • Great guitar riff, great vocals. Andy did the best thing leaving Double d, he has a much better feel for true Rock. I love his styles, lyrical ability, voice, and wicked taste in guitar riffs.

  • I hope he makes his own music soon or sometime. I'd back him up totally

  • I love this song, I love this video, but most of all . . I love, and miss, Miami Vice

  • Too bad Andy didn't go out on tour with this lineup...Terry Bozzio on drums, Patrick O'Hearn on bass, Steve Jones on guitar....that would have killed!!!

  • pero que bien canta andy.............vuelve a duran duran te extrañamos.

  • Andy Taylor has such a great rock voice, I don't know why he didn't sing on the Power Station Tour instead of Michael De Barres. I wish he had more solo albums.

  • @COLLENGIRL with witch band you mean????

  • @COLLENGIRL he sang on their Isley Brothers cover of "Harvest For The World"

  • @twistedviewlabs, You're right, he did, but I was referring to when they went on tour. Robert Palmer couldn't make the tour, so they hired Michael Des Barres to replace him. It would have been better if Andy sang live instead of Michael.

  • @COLLENGIRL ahh. yeah that would've been a suitable fill in over michael des barres who looked and sounded more like a roadie. isn't he related to the ubergroupie pamela des barres?

  • @twistedviewlabs Yeah, I'm just not a fan of his singing, but he's actually a much better actor. Yes, Pamela Des Barres is his ex-wife.

  • @COLLENGIRL He does possess a great rock voice. I love his solo stuff!!

  • gahh this ep of Miami Vice was so sad it was when Crockett lost his Ferrari"Spider" :( soooo sad!!!!

  • 45 rpm

  • I am a hudge Duran Duran, Power Station, Arcadia, John Taylor, and Andy Taylor, fan....I did not know that Andy taylor did a Miami Vice song....THANKS!!!!

  • This, and all of Andy's songs, should be and sounds like a classic. Thanks for posting! I love it!

  • Andy totally rocks solo!

I love it when he's solo sooo much!!! He sounds so amazing! I wish he did a few concerts with some of his solo songs now.

  • ah, the 80's. If it was catchy then it sounded good and got air time. everything was so innocent. the biggest scandal was dealing arms to the contras for the release of hostages. old man Reagan getting caught in a deception which he readily admitted in front of the nation and was subsequently forgiven. ah... so innocent.

  • I never saw this Video before...thank you!!!

  • He is still married to Tracy. He was always my favorite D2 member. He is so sexy!

  • TERRY THE F(*&(*K BOZZIO !!! God watch him Just slap those Hi-Hats...He was doing a lot of clinics in Chicago & Wisconsin at that time and they were excellent as well !!

  • Long Live The 80's.

  • Not a big fan of the video, but I love that song!

  • I was in love with John Taylor in the early days of Duran Duran - but once Andy starting growing his hair out and rockin' out more - damn!

I was so in love with Andy when this came out - when I was like 16.

  • God, he has such a cheeky face....His wife must thank God shes a woman, ha ha ha ha. They used to live pretty local to me, dunno if they still do.

  • I have to post this:

But andy has a better voice than john taylor, not better than simon's, but john is still the hotter of the three members....

  • yep, John Taylor has the most gorgeous bone structure, I do agree with you....mind you...Andy is flippin hot!!!!! ooooooh, I need a cold shower now.

  • PURE GOLD!

  • I stumbled across this songs looking through some 80's stuff and this is amazing!

  • andy taylor is better than cuccurullo!!!

  • Andy Taylor should have been a single success without duran duran, he had a harder edged sound that he nailed to a "t"

  • Andy should have been the lead in Duran because he def sings alot better than Simon.

  • the other guitar player is steve jones from the sex pistols

  • Have to admit. One of my favorite songs ever from my 2nd favorite MV ep. An absolutely awesome song with some great guitar work by Steve Jones, whose song "mercy" appeared on the same ep as this song - Stones war

    A++++

  • Absofreakinlutely Awesome!!!!

    Rock on, Andy!

  • Sounds Great! it's absolutely awesome Andy Rocks!!!

  • DON JOHNSON.... That's all i can say about this video!!

  • Andy rocks! Duran Duran will never be the same without him. Love that smile too : )

  • agree 100%

  • I totally agree!!

  • Taylor/Jones. Thank you for the rock. And they doth...

  • Thanks for the post....Andy Taylor in his ROCKING prime. Can't wait for his new material since he left Duran....I think they will suffer a bit from his departure. Dom Brown is ok, but he can't jam like this man!
