Throughout history, revolutions are caused by corrupt governments and leaders. How is revolution supposed to happen in North Korea if the people don't even realize the government and leader are corrupt?!
You see, the North Korean people would've ALREADY overthrown the government people if they actually realized the government is terribly corrupt. The problem is, they fucking love the government no matter what, just like Christians are taught to love God no matter what! Doesn't that suck for the North Korean people? As generations of families go on in North Korea, the brainwashing is going to get worse as the people who actually know that the government is corrupt will die off.
The problem is, if you someone tells you HOW 2+2=5 is wrong in the classroom, you get sent to detention or expelled from school. Just like in North Korea, if you explain to people HOW the dictatorship is corrupt, you get sent to a work camp or executed.
I do believe We have the military power to confront NK but when it comes to china I don't know. China has over 2 million military active troops plus hundreds of icbm with nuclear warheads attached.
@nukehand101 North Korea's military is actually a lot larger than South Korea's. I don't exactly remember but I think there are like 4x more reserves in NK than SK. They're also so close to each other that thousands of innocent civilians can be killed in a few minutes of the war. Also, China and the US have no intentions whatsoever of ever reuniting the 2 Koreas. As long as China is secretly backing NK and US secretly proxying SK, they will do anything necessary to keep SK/NK separated.

The North Korean military is outdated and they couldn't feed their troops for a week if war broke out. North Korea calls the US "imperialist bastards". Okay fine, I say we do stay out of the fight, all we have to do is punch open the DMZ with bombings from out B-1's, B-2's, and B-52's, then the rest, the ground war can belong to the South Koreans who will march to Pyongyang in a day. @SixtySky987 China and NK do have a pact that says if one is invaded they will both go to war. However that was made when the two countries were so much more alike, and they are now so different. China is trying to prosper in the world while NK is still trying (and failing) to be self reliant. NK is like its embarrassing brother it wants to forget exists. @nukehand101 North Korea's military is actually a lot larger than South Korea's. I don't exactly remember but I think there are like 4x more reserves in NK than SK. They're also so close to each other that thousands of innocent civilians can be killed in a few minutes of the war. Also, China and the US have no intentions whatsoever of ever reuniting the 2 Koreas. As long as China is secretly backing NK and US secretly proxying SK, they will do anything necessary to keep SK/NK separated.

Although, the Spartans were a hardened fighting force who had lived through tough conditions their whole lives. Athens was no match for Sparta's military. They were quickly crushed.

China is trying to prosper in the world while NK is still trying (and failing) to be self reliant. NK is like its embarrassing brother it wants to forget exists.
