This page is dedicated to the Revival of the Mazda Rotary Engine... i#SaveTheRotary!
Mazda has been developing the Rotary Engine for nearly 50 years. Mazda's first prototype Wankel was the 40A in 1961, through the 16x "long stroke" prototype of today, the engine has been the heart and soul of Mazda.
Sadly, with the announcement of the exit of the RX-8 from the market, Mazda also seems to be set to stop research in future Rotaries.
Great audio quality!! But it is said that the camera angle switches too early, it would be nice to listen to the car until it nearly disappears on the horizon... But it is fantastic still!!
A nicely done video, very atmospheric. Sound and vision are fantastic. The camera and mic. were very well set up. Looks like it could have been longer though, if the camera had always kept up with the car as it went out of some shots.
@racered94 as you prolly know it just did a victory/returning lap it dident actually run in the race. and plus the 787b wouldent be competitive in its curent setup. nor would it most likely be legal for the ruleings in the curent LMP1 class.
Wew,a croc! I'm gonna touch'it...

@baszero i completely agree :) It's definently missing, and i find it difficult to understand, why it was made the way it was. :)
