@ShruggingOut How are they worse? If anything crime and divorce rates have fallen from there peaks in the 1970s fixing up some of Americas overall morale health. A majority of them dont want war so if anything, we will return to being a nation of offense to isolation just like we always were before WW2. The Baby Boomers have started 3 wars since they took power in 1993 with Bill Clinton. They are by far the most violent generation with 1 war every 6 years on average. Our country cant take it!

Hey ignorant @ssholes- social security was never supposed to be the entitlement program it is today. When it was enacted as a response to the Great Depression it was more like unemployment insurance. Over the years, the government has purposely ballooned this program (like all programs) to increase power in Washington. They will do it to Obamacare.

Learn history and respect the men who died so you could sit online in your basement talking sh*t. They WERE and ARE the greatest generation.

This seems like a really good film to go see. Our members in Congress and the President need to watch this movie and make them feel bad about themselves. The second civil war is breaking out right NOW!! My grandparents and one great-grandmother are still living (with the exception of my grandmother, who died on Inguration Day), I am truly concerned about them and for my grandchildren. I suggest that the President should watch this movie, and WE THE PEOPLE make him feel GUILTY about it.

The Baby Boomers are generation 0. They were the worst generation in American history. In the 1960s they rioted and destroyed moral values in America. In the 1970s they treated the vietnam veterans terrible. In the 1980s they drove murder rates up to record highs and spread the drug trade. 79% of them did drugs. Now they are making irresponsible decisions as our leaders printing money at a unsustainable rate and spending us to death. Once Generation X takes over America will recover again.

@thejobloshow The welfare state was a direct reaction to the Depression, but could not have possibly been foreseen to be as abused as it is today. Not a lot of people expected anything from the govt before FDR, the govt was just seen as an entity whose main job was to protect america and her interests. If any gen deserves any form of welfare, it is the greatest generation who survived the worse depression and war in modern history and gave selflessly. Not lazy punks who just want free stuff.
