I think its goddam criminal to let great planes like this, concorde the vulcan and other fantastic jets rot in museums. They should be in the sky where they belong.
The goverment should invest some fucking effort and money into these projects and save our engineering marvels.

Unfortunately, not likely to be a "Victor to the Sky", since the main reason for retiring them when they did, was because of wing spar fatigue. That would be more bucks than anyone could pay!!!
Fly past magazine has published a double page spread with photos in the Aug edition...
The cat is definately out of the bag and as the article points out, the CAA are already well into their investigation - so no point in trying to supress the vids, everyone who is interested knows full well the Victor FLEW...
Whether this has any impact on future events is yet to be seen, but showing the vids can't make it any worse, indeed, it may raise a bit of support - which might prove very useful.
The video ended there because I couldn't get an angle for any more footage. Also the point where to video stops, the runway goes downhill, so I wouldn't have seen much more!!
Hardly. I assume you are one of those with the naive view that not publishing videos/photos of the Victor's little flight might in any way change the impact that might have on future events. That is complete nonsense. The authorities would find out anyway and we should hope that the organisers of these events would take their safety responsibilities seriously and report it to enable a proper investigation so it doesn't happen again.
yeah putting the whole video would be harsh and would change future events this is the main attraction besides the lightning and.....VICTOR TO THE SKY :D

@YaS1835 It was the Valiant which had wing spar fatigue, the Victor was fine. The RAF retired it because they just did not want it any more.
