Thats cool, But you don't use your handbrake to J turn in Reverse.

You use it for a forward directional J turn, but not a Reverse.

You neutral slip for a Reverse J turn. (requires a manual, or floorboard automatic)

But besides my trolling, thats a perfect example of a J-turn, i certainly wouldn't attempt it with people on the opposing side of the road.

I think you will find this was performed as part of a Special Operation.

The intention was to line up the local Chav's and take their legs out so they wouldnt be robbing your cars while you are all asleep.

The Cop probably got disaplined for failing to make any contact with the Chav's. His partner was also disaplined for failing to give a sly push in the kids backs!.

While impressive, that was the most irresponsible and dangerous thing I've seen in a long time and for it to be done by cops is despicable. That cop and the supervisor seen in the video should be up on reckless endangerment charges. Had that been a civilian, he's be locked up... just shows how bought and paid for the UK police forces are.

it just goes to show how ignorant and small minded people can be. the police are trained to an extremely high standard of driving and learn this skill (the j turn) as part of their training, it is the safest and most effective method of escaping a situation where all you can do is reverse. this video was probably a training exercise on a closed road. get a life.

i bet if i did that my car would be impounded, under Australia's "anti-hooning" laws. One skid / drift / burnout = car impound for one week. second offence 3 months. 3rd time = crushed, but cops can do whatever they want anyway. Even drink-drive, and the other cops will back them up.

I disagree with the words you used. "A lot". I know "a lot" of police and I beg differ... I still stand by what I said. Cops do a tough job. They too need to let their hair down every now and then aswell. This video just shows that Police officers are indeed human and do like to enjoy themselves as much as any other person. I am not saying 100% of the police force are perfect (obviously?) but a significant percentage of them ARE good - honest, hard working people.

A lot of the media are scum too. I was a cop once, in England. My name was blasted all of the front page of the local paper for being racist.

I held a black guy over the bonnet of the police car as I had used up my handcuffs - he'd just threatened somebody with a knife - a real lowlife.

Of course, when it transpired that I hadn't been racist, there was no news story and no apology. I'd take the press with a pinch of salt.
