  • These speeches is only based on English people or english Language speeches so we cnt rate them as best speeches of the world in 20th century..... If we take then we must include the best speeches of Mohammad Ali Jinnah (Quid e Azam) and Mahatama Gandhi Founder of Pakistan and India

  • Gore my dick

  • Now lets look at the results: South Africa is turning into a black racist society as did once prosperous Rhodesia, now broke Zimbabwe, and Gloria Steinem and the rest of the frustrated females are more screwed up than ever. Lance Armstrong has criminal charges against him, Gore has been ridiculed by thousands of scientists', Bono makes no mention of why do people who can not feed themselves are still having children.

  • Does anyone know this music!?? i really would like know this music!!

  • Does anyone know this music!?? i really would like know this music!!

  • I knew immediately that I couldn't repost this, because it started with fighting.

  • Man, fuck Oprah

  • Why don't they just call this segment : ground zero for Liberal indoctrination? Complete horse shit.

  • al gore?! WTF?!!!!!! he's a liar.. global warming? CO2.. hahahaha

  • Al gore? Are you fucking serious. the guy is a scam artist!

  • Go BOno !

    great vide btw,

  • Churchill, Mandela and martin Luther king out class the rest but i have to say in the circumstances and the situation Churchill speech inspired a nation and all the world no offense to Madella or MLK and where is ghandi ?

  • It does not have mahatma gandhi ..

  • It does not have mahatma gandhi ..

  • this dude is an atheist i bet. What is up with some of these quotes? return to God, he saves. Use science, God is real!!

  • I almost threw up when i saw al gore. Where's Reagan or FDR? Oprah... compared to MLK. I must say WTF!!! I really dont think this is liberal because i am and this person has no taste in inspirational speeches. I was nodding with winston but after that...

  • 21st century ?

  • Where is Vivekananda's speech which he made in chicago??

  • What a bunch of shit, Churchill was good, MLK was okay, JFK was not bad, the rest were a bunch of libtard traitors.

  • how about Bush, britney spears, jonas brothers, McCain, terminator? = bono, oprah, etc.... that really inspires me to write WTF?

  • oprah and bono ruined it

  • beautiful, but honestly, fuck al gore

  • Martin Luther King, Oprah, Steve Jobs, and Lance Armstrong, how inspiring!

  • The only respectable person after 1:53 is Lance Armstrong.

  • gloria steinem is a 3ock-sucker. here, a fake leftie is a successful leftie

steinem ALWAYS pushed in-bed-with-the-FBI hollywood propaganda about marilyn monroe.

actively helped to sell misogynist views of a top working class actress which is typical of bourgoise women - pleasing men is job 1. she even participated in a PBS documentary with norman mailer. the most notorious woman hater of all time.

a man marlyn despised before he tried stabbing his wife to death, yet gloria tolerated.

  • Well, I liked it. It's not about who they are, its about what they're saying. They're trying to inspire people to be better people and have no discrimination yet you're all slagging them off about who they are? Listen to the words they're speaking not judging the person by who's speaking them.

  • @BandNerd97 this could be a new famous speak haha

  • @48mea haha:)

  • hitler is missing LOOOLOLOLOL

  • @DanielSahne He did jack you up though lol

  • @DanielSahne The first time i read your comment, i was like well thats a bit nazi, but when i think about it, his speeches must have been pretty inspirational if it convinced a nation all those terrible things were right. Like in harry potter, voldermort is great, terrible yes, but great.

  • Al Gore Oprah>> wtf. How bout John Lennon, Gahndi...This video was brought to you by the NWO. and the Illuminati..crap video.

  • Started off really great...then went down hill

  • Al Gore? Pfft... Bullshit.

  • al gore is a douche

  • shit i favorited this movie before I found out that bono and al gore where on it , doh

  • @WickedMo13 That's because you can't fuckin read. It is right up there in the description. Thanks for posting your ignorance out there for everybody to see. lol

  • @ocdetails little girl calm down.lol shit your hardcore U2 fan huh? lol awesome

  • Wiston churchill is 100% right we should fight ...

    Jesus Malave

  • you gotta fight!

    for your right!

    TO PAAAAAAAAAAAAARTY!

  • Yay Bono!!! You deserve to be there buddy

  • AL GORE? ARE YOU SHITTING ME! ROFL

  • @TheSalazara Well he won a nobel peace prize, that lends some credibility.

  • @Sardonac He doesn't deserve his peace prize. He is full of crap.

  • Why's that? Because he informed people about scientific consensus of every national academy of sciences? Because he emphasized the externalities of capitalism? Because he helped bring together nearly every one of the world's nations in the spirit of cooperation and the common good?

  • @Sardonac No. I would bet, if this "Green" wasn't profitable for him, he wouldn't be doing it. I'm not saying the message he is spreading is bad, I'm saying the delivery boy sucks.

  • @TheSalazara You don't have to like someone's politics to respect that they may have said some useful things. How narrow minded and stupid do you have to be? I'll bet nothing you say ever ends up in a video like this. The most you can hope for is that a couple people might read your comments. That's as close to being remembered as you'll ever get.

  • @ocdetails Whew, thats only a bit aggressive. Your attack on me was weak, sorry. But your right, I'm not likely to ever wind up famous, nor do I want to be. I'd sooner work behind the scenes trying to make things better, than being a hypocritical poster boy with a lot of money and a noble prize.

  • wheres ronald reagan at

  • @chrismcnuggett reagan is next to hitler

  • The worst display of liberal BS that I have ever seen!! Some great ones in there and then some real bull s#$t. I need say no more.

  • bono?

  • My only beef is that some of these speeches such as the Steve Jobs one and I think the Al Gore one happened in the 21st century not the 20th century.

  • gosh golly; i have beef with your punctuation, go back to school

  • Bono? Steve Jobs? Al Gore? Oprah? Lance Armstrong? Are you kidding? This has to be some kind of bad joke...

  • god don't be so snooty.. they were good speeches

  • I like the way actual historic speeches phase into leftist propaganda and pop psychology psychobabble.

  • Churchill, the greatest leader that ever lived

  • I don't believe Bono, Oprah, Gore and Steve Jobs should be classed with Nelson Mandela, M.L.K, Churchill and Kennedy.

  • I kind of agree. Not to diss on them. I think they have made differences too! just not on the same scale. But i still love this collage. Besides he needed somone current. or she :)

  • @Shawkins49 i so agree with u

  • @Shawkins49 Thats Rights !!!

  • @Shawkins49 i believe oprah can.

  • @Shawkins49 its not about what they have done, its about what they have said (you know when it comes to speeches)

  • @Shawkins49 steve jobs changed the world and has a speech rated 5th best ever written...

  • Great speeches, but seriously, why spend billions and billions to put men on moon instead of spending it on doing something really really honourable on earth?

  • @PhuckFase Because, we can't ignore space, its like the oceans, eventually we're going to have to move out. Besides, don't you think its worth the effort to explore, and learn about our universe?

  • Greatest speeches of the 20th Century and no Reagan? You must be joking with Oprah, Bono, and Gore.

  • lol bono

  • amazing vid

  • lol bono and others here. haha 1*

  • The most important musicians of the 20th Century:

    -Frank Sinatra

    -Elvis Presley

    -Bob Dylan

    -Lennon/McCartney

    -Michael Jackson

  • You forgot Tupac and Bob Marley.

  • Idiots. Only idiots read into the speaker only and not the message.

  • bono is a hypocrite

  • perhaps you're describing yourself...?

    stupid is as stupid does...

    hypocrite is as hypocrite does...?

  • no, i was describing bono.

  • I gathered that. And I'm saying your comment implies that you're a hypocrite as well... but maybe I'm wrong. What makes you think that Bono's a hypocrite?

  • What the hell is Oprah Winfreys name doing inbetween Winston Churchill and JFK??

You should be fucking ashamed of yourself whoever posted this.

  • fuck yeah!

  • rofl

    i agree bud

  • I got up to Gloria Steinem and then after her it got bizzare. You see great liberators and leaders like Churchill, King, Kennedy, Mandela, and Steinem... and then it just gets random. Bono? Really?

  • mmmmm bono n oprah shouldnt b here.

  • TNX

  • OMG people all of these guys are great people and all deserve to be on the list so chill. Bono and Oprah help the world in more ways than the average person in their whole lifetime so I don't see the problem. Great vid too

  • All well and good, but why on earth would you include Oprah and Bono in such a video? Neither have anything particularly valuable to say.

  • Good point but i suppose Bono lead the world to a time where the national debt of sub-saharan africa was wiped off.

  • Lol you dumb fucker!!

  • are you serious? you dont know martin luther king?!?!?!

  • WTF is Bono doing on here- the self publicising smug hypocritical twat who aggrandises with such arrogance. The speeches selected on this montage espouse a very Americocentric view. The Truly great oraters include the likes of Castro, Tony Benn, George Galloway (who tore the US Senate to pieces)who regardless of their political positions, speak with such awe inspiring passion. On a lighter note doesn't Al Gore look like Hugo Chavez's older brother!

  • could someone tell me where and when bono is speaking? i am trying to find the full video.

    please halp!

  • who the fuck is bonero

  • wtf's is oprah and bono on there for?

  • Learning from these uncommon people is something we need today...

  • bono

  • Gore, Bono, and Oprah's speeches were in the 21st Century not the 20th Century please Correct yourself!

  • Good god.....Al Gore? Oprah's silly ass??

Even compared to Bono....they are weak and selfishly motivated

  • People like Oprah and Bono or even Al Gore don't deserve to stand next to King, Steinem, and Churchill. COME ON!

  • you forgot Jimmy Valvano. Espy's 1993.

  • oprah? al gore? give me a break. you leave Ronald Reagan off? Good grief that is a travesty.

  • You are right. Ronald Reagen was a travesty.

  • @matskagg Agreed. Only a liberal would put this garbage together. This is just a partisan rag movie.

  • oprah and ian paisley? Shocking choices

  • i'm not saying that YOU need to find him inspirational. however he has been for millions of people.

  • oprah exactly

  • Oprah, are you nuts?

  • This is wonderful..thanks for that great jobs of heart and beliefs.

  • Where is the Jimmy V. speech from the espy's.

  • bono?? wtf? why don't you include britney spears?

  • Bono actually gets stuff done and knows what he is doing.

  • maybe. but to compare it to Churchill's "Finest hour" or MLK's "I have a dream" seems weird. It's good speech but hardly on that same level.

  • It's a shame that someone like Bono was included, and Reagan was not. Ronald Reagan made many good things for the world, he fought communism. It;s sad that people don't have any respect for truly great people.

And Reagan deserved it much more than some stupid Al Gore.

btw: make a video about recent speeches ('01-'08) and include Ron Paul ;P

  • but some of those celebs are rele helpin

  • you also included retarded celebs but not historic legends like che guevara, malcom x, ian paisley and many others.

    bad job

  • ian paisley? inspirational? don't make me laugh. i agree with the point of the celebrities though.

  • you should have included hitler. his speeches got him into power, inspired his people to fight fanatically all through the war and all historians agree that his oratory skills were amazing even if you don't agree with him

  • i have to listen to aces high after the first one lol

  • HAHAH!

  • al gore???!!! i could pull something more inspiring out of my ass.

  • You had me inspired until you included Al Gore.

What a fraud that man is and what fools his admirers are.

He and Clinton had 8 years to fix the problems he is so committed to and - nothing. 8 years of prosperity, they inherited, and nothing to show for it. We ended the Clinton-Gore years more dependent on foreign oil than when we started. What a wasted opportunity.

Now that he's not responsible for anything, he wants to be carbon-free in 10 years.

What a joke Al Gore is.

  • Reagan should've been included in this...

  • Do you honestly believe that Reagan should be included in anything great?

  • Why, yes.

  • Reagan was our best president by far, He single handedly stoped communism, resored america to out original values, and helped erase one of the worst terms in history (jimmy Carters)

  • Single handedly? Wouldn't you say earlier Presidents whose policies led to the development of the world's first atomic bombs, the containment policy, NATO, the CIA, the Berlin Airlift, the invention of spy satellites, and the Helsinki Accords had something to do with it? By the 1980s, American consumers could buy computers superior to those used by the Soviet military. In 1970, Andrei Amalrik wrote the book, "Will the Soviet Union Survive Until 1984?" All of these occurred before Reagan.

  • so thats why communism was going strong befor 1980 with really no ending in sight, but then a normel man with real values comes to the white house, and destroys the soviey union in a mere 8 years

  • If there had been no US nuclear program, no policy of containment, no NATO, no CIA, no Berlin Airlift, no great strides in US technology, if Nixon did not exploit the Sino-Soviet split, if there were no Helsinki Accords, how could Ronald Reagan "destroy the Soviet Union"? The Cold War wasn't won in 8 years. It took over 50 years, with Reagan at the tail end of the struggle. He deserves some credit, but do you really think the earlier Presidents sat by and did nothing?

  • You are right. I would like to add : if it wasn´t for the conservative attitude of the Soviet politicians on any economical reforms, the USSR might have survived to these days

  • fstbrk57, I think you are the one full of crap.

Liberal media my butt, what the hell have you been watching?

And global warming is very much real, but whatever.

  • this video and its comments proves that liberals run the media, but nobody buys it.

and come on, Jimmy V's speach is the best of alltime

and global warming is a bunch of crap

  • i think this is VERY inspiring!

And all those who commented badly, i think this is a case of stereo typing!

Just cas oprah or bono arent presidents or primeministers doesnt mean that they shouldnt be given the chance to speak their mind!

I guarentee you if JFK or Churchill had spoke ofrah or the others' speeches they would go down in history! just because they are not worldwide figure heads doesnt mean what they are saying isnt important!

At least they have the guts to do it, more than you!

  • bobo is a fucking idiot why doesnt he give africans some of his own millions, how dare he talk about justice from his mansions, hippocrit

  • what of FDR???

  • Oprah? Bono? Al Gore? Oh, please no. Yes Churchill, yes JFK, YES Dr. King! Yes even to the others, but those three? Egads. Where's Pres. Reagan "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall." or Jim Valvano, "Don't EVER give up." Who sponsors this, Entertainment Tonight?

  • Not long until Barack Obama's presidential speech is added to this collection...history in the making happening in our lifetime.

  • when a speech can move you to tears and that one for freedom black or white..Dr martin luther king..was just an incredible courageous human being...rip sir

  • Pretty uninspiring collection that mainly shows a skewed perspective on the last century.

  • I don't think Bono should be compared to JFK, MLK or Churchill. Bono has an over inflated ego and thinks he is more important than he actually is.

  • Bono is talking about justice. No one else seem concerned about justice.

They all had/have over inflated egos. One is no better than the other, in that respect.

  • Where is Jimmy V. ? Don,t give up Don,t ever give up.

  • I think that they should have had Hitler in there not because of the message he sent, but because of the power he made doing it and the effect and change it had on the world.

  • Al Gore?!?

    LOL

    WTF?

  • comes from nothing to a household name that many respect and listen to daily. I don't like her myself but I respect her and she is an inspiration none the less.

  • It would be nicer if the names of speakers appears with their job; artiste, entrepreneur, president, prime minister, etc. And it would be complete if their words accompany their respective speeches. Anw, thanks for sharing..

  • After all, this collection of speeches does not claim to be complete. It is not "the most important speeches of the 20th century"--we're just talking about inspiration here and that can be anything and anybody. You may think that FDR had more inspiring things to say than Dr.King and that's just as okay and "correct" as somebody who wants his mom or grandfather on the list. It's about WHAT they say, not WHO said it.

  • Gore doesn't deserve to be on here? Yeah, I suppose you are right, he has only won a Nobel Peace Prize Award for his efforts. But sure, let's allow political affiliation to ruin his efforts. He seems to be a visionary as to the problems of global warming. It isn't a myth, and it wasn't his idea like the internet was. He's committed to the idea of fighting against global warming.

  • It's great man but what no FDR,Woodrow Wilson, or Mahatma Gandhi

  • No Reagan, but Al Gore. Come on man.

  • Are you comparing bono to MLK? :O

  • AL Gore does not belong in there.

  • sure he does he has so much god to say we need to wake up. this man is inspiring, who are you to say he should not be in there!

  • I agree, Gore is a man for himself. He's not genuine, nor is his message. overall, I did like the video.

  • Mikescircus, when MLK was shot there were people who thought he didn't belong anywhere. It's OK to appreciate all the good people can do amongst all the bad and wrong things most people can do (and give them credit for it).

  • Bono, Oprah, etc. do NOT belong here. When Kurt Cobain died and went to heaven he saw Bono talking to Jimi Hendrix. Then Bono walked away. So Cobain says to Hendrix, "Hey Jimmy what is Bono doing up here?" Hendrix replied, "Oh that wasn't Bono. That was GOD. He just THINKS he's BONO."

  • Great speeches...may I suggest a much more moving speech by Bono during the NAACP Image Awards? Simply incredible.

  • You're right. That was an amazing speech.

  • Oh wow, that Reagan speech is great. Maybe we will have to do a second clip with all the great speeches we missed.

  • out of the ones in the video i think the jfk speech stands out........it inspired an entire nation!

  • good. The most amazing speech I remember was Ronald Reagan challenging Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin Wall.

  • tht was awesome!
