I actually like the sound of a 7m over a 1jz or a 2jz. Of course I would never bother with a 7m because both the 1j and 2j is much better motor. But in terms of sound. I like the 2jz as well. My 1jz sounds good but it's kind of a sweeter revving sound not as aggressive.

Def a 7M, sounds like an American V6. Easiest way to tell is that the 1J sounds smoother and more refined =P

@iNtAlps Bummer that you dont know what a turbo spooling up sounds like, I almost feel bad for ya. Turn your sound up, its definately turbo = 7m-GTE. I own a 91 and hear it daily =D

There is no reason for it. most people think its gotta have a turbo to be a supra. I think differently myself. Couple bolt ons to a 7mge will have a much better and smoother power curve than a stock 7mgte. N/A= reliable power

brotha we aint be doing it for looks on these type of cars, they actually add better mid-top range torque and response on turbo engines not sure if this car is a turbo but I dont really like the looks a whole lot. lol
