  • She is brilliant at almost anything but this nostalgic song suits her down to the ground.

  • good tune

  • I am the happiest girl in Canada and love Donna Fargo!!!

  • this song makes me cry every time

  • I love this song!!Undepot !!! Listen to this!!

  • this song are great

  • I'm still looking and listening for the woman in country music today that is the new version of Donna Fargo, but I don't see or hear her. I got new hearing aids a few weeks ago, had them since I was a kid, but even they don't help me hear someone comparible with her. So sorry Donna Fargo doesn't tour anymore, as even the older country singers can't hold a candle to her, including Dolly Parton!

  • @pek123able if you are looking for a country singer that could replace the voice of donna fargo.ther is not one.there are some that follow in thier footstep but i'm sorry to say donna fargo, susan raye, norma jean, just to name a few can't be replace.i could have went on with the older country music singer .if you get a chance look up amber digby on you tube she does alot of loretta song and she is good.

  • beautiful song:)

  • Hank Williams sang a song called 'Wedding Bells'. Johnny Cash simply took the song and called it "Give My Love To Rose". With lyrics that appear strange to me... 'Honky Tonk Angels' sounds very much like "The Great Speckled bird". a different song in its wordings. Think Kitty Wells became famous with that song. Nowadays I love Afrikan music like Esther Smith. It is 'synthetic' music. Like 'The Eyes Of Lucy Jordan'.

  • To DCUP Toejuice- I agree that I would LOVE to hear Alison sing this one solo instead of just backing up Dolly Parton's version

  • i love this song

  • I Love Donna Fargo! I listened to her when her first record came out. I was around 15 y/o back then. I'm sure people got tired of hearing my voice when she came out with "Happiest Girl in The Whole USA." lol God Bless everyone.

  • Donna gave me joy with the joyful love song, about a newlywed couple waking up, and the wife has to go to work. Called Happiest Girl.

  • allison krauss would own this so easily

  • it would be cool if she did it

  • Donna's version is good but Randy's is incomparable

  • @locohoya you've got that right!!!!

  • She brings such a mesmerizing depth to every song she sings... I love this. thanks for posting all these great Donna Fargo songs.

  • No, No, No...Dolly didn't write it. It was written by Randy Vanwarmer who took it to the top of the pop charts in 1979. Unfortuntely Randy died a few years ago.
