  • I like Manny. He is a very solid all-around player who is always doing something to contribute to the team while he is on the ice.

  • I was there that night and consider myself lucky. Without question, it was the most athletic hockey play I have ever seen in person. It may be the most athletic play of any sport that I have witnessed in person. The crowd just roared when it happened, AND, when they showed the replay on the scoreboard. Thanks for posting.

  • Great Video~ Hey guys,HAVE A LOOK on my awesome Bobby Orr 1973-1974 vintage jersey. youtube.com/watch?v=8fT_02IPoWg

  • oh i didnt realize that manny won the stanley cup while celebrating a goal he scored in the air. a lot of canadians have scored similar goals. wouldnt compare em to bobby orr. maybe change the title to nice mid air goal, then i wont dislike it.

  • welcome to vancouver manny

  • ooo this is awesome, excited for him to come to vancouver, along with dan hamhuis and keith ballard

  • welcome to Vancouver!

  • lol

  • Malhotra is pretty much decent player without good skills but at least hes good hard-worker.

  • I was there that night. I have been watching hockey for 47 years and it the greatest goal I have ever seen.

  • weak comparison.

  • slightly different stage and slightly different goal, but still quite an impressive display of atheleticism.

  • Manny went to my highschool in mississauga ontario

    John Fraser HS

  • @jawad123100 thanks awesome.

  • glad to see him in a sharks uniform.

  • Malhotra signed a 700k 1 year deal today with the sharks! so excited hes really good at ace offs something the sharks are lacking. maybe he will help stabilize the sharks third line and hopefully this is a piece to that stanley cup puzzle.

  • Malhotra's going to san jose on a tryout contract, it's just a matter of whether or not they have the money to sign him.

  • Maybe coming to SJ?

  • This is literally 1000 times more impressive than Bobby Orr's goal. Bobby Orr didn't jump in the air until after the puck went in the net. It's probably the one of the most over-rated film clips in sports history.

  • This is in no way more impressive than Bobby Orr's goal. Orr won the Stanley Cup with his goal in overtime, this goal put the Blue Jackets up by one goal against the Blues. It was impressive, and took coordination, but Orr's goal and subsequent dive is one of the most significant hockey images of all time.

  • @searrss fuck you bitch, you're saying this goal is nothing like bobby orr's goal? you're fucked in the head

  • @searrss this goal is way better then orr's. orr just hit the puck in the net. malhotra's goal took amazing hand -eye coordnation. orr's goal is more significant, the most ICONIC goal in history, but the actual goal wasn't anything special

  • @searrss No one said it was better than Orr's. Chill out. By the way, who's back in the finals after an eye injury? I bet Orr never would have come back if that happened to him.

  • Are you kidding me?

  • well said lejink

  • haha both were against the blues too

  • this is probly almost exactly like the bobby orr goal called THE GOAL one of the most famous hockey pictures ever, hard 2 imagine what exactly orr did befor the pic, but watching this u can imagine, look it up on wikipedia, a pic of a young bobby orr in a mid air super man pose 3feet over the ica with an excited look on his face, a great player- a great goal

  • Actually, it's not hard to imagine what Orr did, seeing as how there are videos of the goal....

  • for all those commenters this is not bobby orr its manny malhotra doing a goal like bobby orrs!

  • malhotra owns punjabis rule im a jatt not a papai

  • Yeah that's pretty close to the goal, but Orr shot the puck first and then he was tripped.

  • yeah but bobby won the cup with his goal

  • not at all

  • Saw his picture in my dictionary last week, next to the word BUST...

  • Love the backhanded "not many points in his young career...of over 300 NHL games". Heh.

  • Hes not really a franchise player
