DO NOT use air to blow out your machine!! VACUUM, use pipe cleaners and a lint brush ONLY. This is more time consuming but the long term results are much better. The hand wheel end and top should not have lint issues as those are fairly sealed areas. Open them only if you need to lubricate beyond what your normal machine access allows. Indiscriminate use of canned air will dislodge the lint and send it aloft to stick to oiled surfaces where it will be MUCH harder to clean!
Hi I run a small retoration shop (non-profit) and I am trying to generate some interest in a blog I have started about a singer 29k15 which is the current project. As I think the old singers are by far the best machines. Just incase anyone is interest how they go together. northants-restoration.blogspot.com
WOW I cant thank you enough, I inherited grandmas White 305. This company no longer exists. Your work gave me an idea how to clean it up. All I have to do now is change the tention element on the front of the machine as it was broken during years of storage. Thanks again
I LOVE you! I really needed to know this. I'll be watching and doing all this. I have an elna 2003 that really needs servicing and you are saving me $200!!! Thank you so much
Can you tell me how to repair my tension? For some reason the it will not adjust. I opened my machine and there is a wire wrapped around the inside of the tension knob. Is this supposed to be attached to something so that it will actually adjust?
Okay, I just payed close to $100 to have less than this done to my machine! Thanks so much for these videos! Do you have a video on how to "retime" the machines?

Could you tell me how to remove the top from a New Home Memory Craft 7000? Do you have a website or a blog?
