  • this is the only new millenium episode where he looks like he is really trying to hold back laughter and also the guy at 6:58 looks like undercover brother when he's trying to be white LOL

  • You are free to will what you like. Just question who you are willing to hold power over you? If you will politicians and governments to hold power over you, so your will be done and you will always be powerless. Lets all begining willing (creating) our freedom and peace.

  • Im aware that the people who are in psychotherapy may not be likely to use their free will as readily as those that dont go. What I mean is the reason they may have gone in the 1st place is because they felt limited and wanted to break out

  • the information is great , unfortunately the two blokes look like they have been spray starched fron the inside out...but god bless 'um for doing it

  • if you can choose then you have free will.....

  • Yes, but your will is not a surprise to God who is one step ahead of your will. An ant has freewill to walk along the sidewalk but if a dog is laying in the way the ant's will must conform to what the dog wants no matter how much the ant might want to continue on where the dog is laying. In other words, the creatures act within a certain way and the smallest creature's will cannot overpower the greatest power in the universe.

  • ....we all have consciousness...we have awareness and thoughts.....if i was an ant and there was a dog in front of me.....i could walk over it walk round it bite it or go back....(these just a few options) i would choose even at that small basic level of consciousness but i would choose something...humans are far more evolved and can have greater choices....the more aware we are the more conscious the more scope and understanding follows. we are alllowed this free will so we can make the choices

  • True, but we were created, not evolved. Yes, you could make various decisions as to how to act if confronted with a dog in your way as you walk along the sidewalk. BUT, for each possible decision you would consider, God is already there ahead of you. Your few options are not beyond God's ability to determine what course of action you will take. He is eternal, so the options do not take him by surprise as they might with us. He sees the whole picvture, we see one frame at a time.

  • you know what i am going to say here is that i love that we have a similar respect in god i totally totally believe in god but i think we have been created yes AND evolved, just looking at the complexities of how matter is held together using quantum mechanics/science to explain it makes so much sense to me but there will always be so far and so small that we can examine for it is infinite, what we can learn and utilise in a 'good' manner is a blessing2b grateful 4. science is a lightbulb4me

  • and on this physical plane we can use our knowledge to better ourselves spiritually aswell as physically, mentally, financially....however it is there are certain individuals who will always set out to abuse knowledge for power and personal gain. but again our lifes are not infinite we shal all die and face the reaping of what we sowed in the physical world. ultimately we will all face the next step in our journey to a heavenly plane or a not so nice plane....:-)

  • "Free will" doesn't exist. Our will is a result of our desires, and our desires are a result of everything that has come before us at the place we are. True free will would be us making random decisions to every choice based on nothing, no motive, no desires. The fact is that our wills can only operate within the desired will of God. God is always one step ahead of us. God's will is always done and it is always good for his people, the chosen, the elect, the sheep that Jesus saves.

  • But you are free to do something you do NOT desire.. so therefore its free. With your logic wouldnt that make god have no free will whatsoever because he has no desire or motives.

  • Yes I agree to a certain extent. But God gave us free will, and the government takes it away from us...

  • I was taught in the Catholic church that free will is a gift from God that separates humans from all other beings. Free will in the fact that we can choose to do what is morally right or wrong. I find this discussion very interesting in light of that teaching.

  • I agree that more examples would be nice, but also to explain how our motives determine if we are being just 'willful' or exercising our 'freewill'.

  • Really valuable, could have given more examples about how people think they are using their free will when making decisions but are really influenced by forces they are not even aware of. That is why a good therapist is really valuable and interpreting ones dreams.

  • we dont even realize that we have free will we have become bio-robots as slaves of illuminati and devil

  • We have PLENTY of free will. We often CHOOSE not to execute it, but that's still a choice.
