very very nice work. I am drooling. I am building the same century 30 size 222 right now and it is the reason why I watched your vid. I wanted to know where to put the flashers and position lights. what are the rivets..needle heads or did you buy them if so where ? where did you get the wipers? Again , amazing and spectacular work.
Very nice job on the 222. She looks fantastic. You did some very nice work on this ship. I really loved the USS Enterprise. I fly for RC Aerodyne and just finished the AStar 350 600 electric. Take a look and tell me what you think of her.
great looking helicopter! Love the rivet detail and the lights look great! I've always wanted something like this. I love the idea of RC aircraft and I need to try it sometime...
First off, I want to thank you for sharing this with me.. I get like 200 vids a day man shared with me and I can't watch all of them.. I wish I could.. this one caught my eye...
SO amazing.. The detail involved here.. I read some of your side bar on this but not all of it... Do you fly her yet?
For Christmas a friend bought me a little Helo for around $100. I fly it in my house lol and my back yard ,,, but I wreck it a lot.. I could not imagin wrecking that machine of yours.. 5*****
LOL Flanders. Actually I'm a big fan of Airwolf(except the last season with Van Dyke). I thought about doing an Airwolf, but it had indeed been done so much and I really enjoyed designing my own paint scheme. Also the Airwolf scheme is very hard to see in the air, its hard to keep orientation on a black silhouette.
I need to keep a better eye on this video. Sry for the delay. A good trainer is a 30 sized nitro. Stay away from those little electrics, they are just a waste of money, unless you get a t-rex or similar but those 400-450 electrics are not good trainers. A good trainer is a used Raptor V2. After you get comfortable in all aspects of flight, you can move up to something more current.
I'm back and forth on selling. I don't really want to sell her, but my space is limited and I need the room. If I were to sell it, I would probably put it on ebay and hope for around $1,000.00-$1,200.00...that would be ready to fly except my transmitter.
helipilot27, you did one hell of job finishing that heli, i have a .30 size robinson R22 beta im working on now, i will have the vid up soon, but i give you props on the bell222, superb job my friend.
Not at all, this is a nitro powered heli, so flight time is limited to the tank size. I have never flown it for long periods, maybe 10 minues at most, and still have about 1/2 tank left. The radio battery is 1800mah. so it should be good for 2 10-15 min. flights without risking anything.

I was in Miami in 85' when Don Johnson and friends arrived at Burt and Jack's in Fort Lauderdale Fl. For dinner in a bell such as this amazing model will soon aquire the6 CH Bell 222 CCPM 3D Aerobatic Radio Remote Control Electric RC Helicopter RTF from Banana hobbies.J!
this is the most impressive model helicopter i've ever seen. i've not done this rc since i was a little kid 40 years ago but this is awesome! makes me want to start all over again. The last plane I built when I was 14 years old and it was made out of a broom stick, plywood wings, and a big old russian motor my father found somewhere. but it flew well for six months when i used the engine for a boat instead.
I'm assuming you mean the G-4 model for Realflight. It's been so long since I've downloaded a file I cant remember, but if you search the bulliten board pages its in there...PS I think you have to have G-4, 3.5 will not work.
ah thas cool :), btw I have another question for you. I have the blade 400 right. im not sure if your familiar with its setup. but, I want to install retracts on it. NightFlyer told me to use channel 5 or 6. But then I have all the channels being used up. on the stock rx. So then I was thinking of using a Y harness and linking it maybe to something. not sure how to do it? any ideas? thank you.
hm i see i see, well basically what im going to do is. Just install the fuse, with retracts. heli is all set, i've done everything to it :) flies awesome. im very good at hovering blade cp pro and blade 400, as the heli gets bigger the easier it gets for me. I already own 3 blade 400's :) one will be a bell 222 another will be a jet ranger long style and the 3rd IDK yet lol.
but yea see how u have those lights thas crazyyy i could never do that would take me hours n hours lol
The lights were actually pretty easy. Just go to ebay and search for led navigation lights. They are easy to install. You can also go to rc-lightsdotcom
hey thas beatuiful man, what kind of tools did u you use put it togeher when assembling and do you need any glue. I just bought me one like it for my blade 400. :) happy flying

bcbikers2 2 years ago
Thank you, on the dimensions, I'm not sure, but approx. 40" length, maybe 12" wide,
helipilot27 2 years ago
Doesnt that decrease flight time with the landing gear and everything considerably
YYpes 2 years ago
Not at all, this is a nitro powered heli, so flight time is limited to the tank size. I have never flown it for long periods, maybe 10 minues at most, and still have about 1/2 tank left. The radio battery is 1800mah. so it should be good for 2 10-15 min. flights without risking anything.
