I can only say this: I don't know of any other cover songs made by Mike Oldfield. As far as i'm aware, this is his only one. So, if a musician (better say music god) like him cares enough to cover ONE song from ONE band... what does say about Abba?

My understanding was that "Arrival" by Abba was based on a Swedish folk song rather than an original song written by Benny and Bjorn. Sadly, I'm not Swedish so I can't confirm that!

Benny and Bjorn were geniuses. For traditional Swedish music I think Benny was the best and wrote this one as an original, even though the sound and emotions are deeply Swedish folksong.

What people have to understand is that Mike Oldfield is a genius in his own right, just like Dave Mason, of Trafffic, he's played with just about anyone who's anyone, in Rock at one time or another, the type of Rock that I like that is, it's about art, and the creation of something new, that's not seen much these days. It is what inspires me to create the sounds that I do, you have to look for inspiration where ever you can. Benny would approve, this is one of my favorite numbers off of Arrival.

Read the name of the video again, please. It clearly states that this is a cover by mike oldfield. If you want the abba version you can just search for it on youtube. There should be at least one video with what you are looking for.
