Roger Moore on TV-am in 1985

1985 - A shame is was Roger's last Bond film. I would like to have seen him play 007 for the series' 25th Anniversary which was in 1987.

Shame he chose to have a facelift just before a view to a kill. I think he looked fine in octopussy still as catchy in that as the rest!

Moore was great in Octopussy. A View To A Kill was just a mistake all around.

@jcook51 Although a matter of opinion I don't think that's fair. A View to a Kill had a great villain, some great stunts and set-pieces, and a great score and Fiona Fullerton. And the story was quite fun and interesting. I thought.

Roger Moore is great actor and my personal favorite James Bond. All Bond films with Roger were brilliant action masterpieces.

Live And Let Die, Moonraker, The Man With The Golden Gun, Octopussy and A View To A Kill were brilliant.

Moore had very good looks thruout the 70s, Id say he should have quit after For Your Eyes only (1981) when he started to look old..
