Ive read them, cept maybe the last few.... and i cant believe thier not starting with a major motion picture, epic in the way of Lord of the Rings. Once people see what these people have done, itll be hard as ever to get them to read the books. What a shame!!!!

They been butchering the story. And, I agree with all of you from the books perspective. Even though by now I've sorta grown with Kahlan. But, not Richard. And, now that I hear they are going into season 2, with Horner saying now they can do what they want. Don't feel me with hope. But, like everyone else, I will still watch it. Still love the relationship between these two, and try not to let the wrongess interferr. But, dammit! It's hare. The books are waaaay better. =D
In the interviews its not really based on the book its like extension to their journey plus more I read the first three books it was 2,000 and something pages of awesomeness I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THE SERIES AND THE THE PEOPLE THEY PICK TO PLAY RICHARD AND KAHLAN CRAIG HORNER AND BRIDGET REGAN !!!!!!!!!

So I have never read any of the books, but is it different then the show? I hate when they do that but the show is very interesting and i'm kinda of glad that I haven't even heard of any of the books because it would ruin the show for me. I really want to read the books.
Read the books. You know what? Read the first book. If you don't fall in love with the story line I will find it very strange. For example...It is impossible to show the depth/complexity of Kahlan on screen. This woman is more like Xena and less like Kahlan. She is a very well written character. It is a shame that they are ruining the books like that.
I know, I hate it when tv/movie shows alter the story line, it completely ruins it for me, I want to see a show based off of the series that terry goodkind wrote, not the director
I know when I heard they were doing this I thought they were going to do TSOT and more specifically WFR into 22 episodes and I was ecstatic. I mean who are these people I see? Kahlan does not even look like the mother confessor. Nor does she act like it. Richard is too young.... we should still be in westland! And what is that about Z asking A who she is? He knows damn well who she is.
Is this her first acting gig? Her line readings are not convincing at all. Hope she gets better with more experience. The guy playing Richard is slightly more natural but that's not saying much... Where these really the best actors they could find?

I agree completely, I have the feeling that I am going to be disappointed with this show, especially because I am such a huge fan of the series.
