No, firearms are illegal in the general public. Granted you can apply for a licence in specific circumstance eg, hunting but there is a limit on what type of gun you can acquire. In America, our government is broken into three branches yet I am already beginning to see the rise of a tyranny. I am an atheist, I accept the theory of evolution as the best explanation for the diversity of life on Earth. I accept it due to the overwhelming evidence in its favor, and the Absolute ZERO evidence, no pun intended, in support of creationism.

No, firearms are illegal in the general public. Granted you can apply for a licence in specific circumstance eg, hunting but there is a limit on what type of gun you can acquire. Anything else is confiscated by the police and destroyed say by melting them down. And no the government cannot just turn tyrannical if they wanted to for many reason. These include:
-The army is sworn to the Queen
-There are 2 government parts the house of commons (elected) and Lords (noblemen)
-They wouldnt coordinate

In America, our government is broken into three branches yet I am already beginning to see the rise of a tyranny. Our bill of rights and constitution are becoming increasingly ignored by our government. For example some people are getting their children taken away by DCFS for not medicating them with the dangerous drugs that the state requires them to be medicated with.

Well I wasn't referring to vaccines (though I do consider flu vaccines to be dangerous and ineffective) I was referring to a story I read online about someone's daughter who had petite mal seizure (I think that's what it was called) who was forced to take medication that deadened her brain activity and had a whole bunch of other side effects. Evolution is a SCIENTIFIC theory. Nothing has "disproven" evolution. If he believes that there is evidence contour to Darwin's theory, he has to say what it is, otherwise his words mean nothing.
Saying that crimes have increased, and then that teaching evolution has increased, and then correlating the two is a post hoc, ergo propter hoc argument.

They read the 10 commandments. They noticed that "don't kill" is way down the list at #6, below things like worship God, other gods are bad and don't work on the sabbath. Hence the next few hundred pages where the bible gives countless exceptions to the "don't kill" rule.

I am an atheist, I accept the theory of evolution as the best explanation for the diversity of life on Earth. I admire that. Its good to hear some sense out of the other end of the spectrum. I myself was brought up Greek Orthodox Christian, but gave it up, in light of the some contradictions I couldn't accept. In any case, atheist or not, to me there is still room for god in the Universe. Much remains to be discovered. Who knows, perhaps in our search for our origins we may in the end discover god, but let's wait and see where the evidence will take us. =)

The teachings are irrelevant to the point I'll make. The problem is that a Christian is one who believes in Jesus Christ and is an ahherent to Christianity, where Christianity is defined as the state of being a christian, and/or pertaining to one of the churches of Christianity, which includes the RCC, Eastern Orthodox, Protestant, etc. As well, Catholic pertain to adherents or members of the RCC.
So, by the very definition, regardless of teachings, we are Christians.

The teachings are relevant because they are almost completely different. Catholics believe in Jesus, but their view on him is really distorted. According to catholics, Jesus has nothing to do with salvation because catholics say that you need to do the seven sacraments to be saved and that you need a priest to forgive sins.

99.8 percent of scientists accept evolution, it would become dangerous only if you do NOT believe in evolution... It's the same as if you wouldn't believe a toaster could work, everyone says it works, the evidence it works is right before your eyes, but still you don't believe in the toaster...

Oh ok, you think evolution has never been observed yet? Well it is.. for example, the HIV virus has evolved to become resistent to some highly used drugs, Many insects have become resistant to DDT, And bactaria have become resistant to antibiotica... Just to name a few.

I see it on anti-biotic since... Well, I see a person seek on anti-biotic, and it wasn't working because the pathogens in question have favourable mutation to this type of anti-biotic. This is be definition evolution: The stronger bacterias to this anti-biotic survive and reproduce... Shit, that bad! But that an evolution process.
Doctor change the anti-biotic and well, they was "weak" against this one and the bacterias die... That call extinction.

@ KentHovindisCool - A good piece of evidence for evolution is the chromosome fusion. Human chromosome #2 has been seen to be a fusion of 2 older ape chromosomes. This is evidenced by the fact that chromosome #2 has vestigial telomeres and a vestigial centromere, and it is nearly identical to the old chromosomes when added together, aside from the fusion site located at base pairs 114,455,823 to 114,455,838.
There's also the fossil record, ERV DNA, etc.

For your information, anything that provides light can be called a light. So in that case, the moon is a light. And of course the moon is going to be moving through the daytime sky. But during the daytime, it is harder to see the moon, and that is why God said that the moon would rule the night.
