whats the difference between legato slides and regular slides

Legato slides have you actually playing notes, where as a regular slide has you literally "slide" from one note to another.

so a in a normal slide, u just strum once when u slide to another note. and in legato slide, u strum a second time when u slide to a different note?

no, a legato slide only has the first note struck and then slid to the next. A "normal" slide is usually used as a position change and has both notes played. hope that helps someone
