3) Who says education is easy? It takes four years to study in the University so understanding gays in a society with high illiteracy can be daunting and there are those sheikhs, Imam and homophobes around who will capitalise on that. @kickitable It was common in central africa (Central african rep, Democratic Republic of the congo, Republic of the congo, Gabon, Cameroon...) Also amonst nilotic people of eastern africa (Masaai tribe...) and bushmen of southern africa (Namibia and Botswana)!! It was common and still is amonst tribes of Papua New Guinea and Indonesia!! The ancient mayas and aztecs freely practiced it until spain conquered latin america and punished them by putting them in a pit of savage dogs!!

@kickitable U obviously dont know much on the subject!! Also, the masaai of eastern africa practiced homosexuality for centuries!! And the bushmen of southern africa!! Young pygmy boys used to drink the semen of older males to make them reach puberty and become a man!! Once they became a man they stopped doing it!! Thats a sort of homosexual conduct!! If u are african and know black people suffer discrimination, why discriminate against another group if u know wat it feels like???

@soojenite I didnt say homosexuality was african!! I said it was present in africa before abrahamic religions took over!! Homosexuality is and has been present in ALL races and ALL cultures across the world!! The majority of africans nowadays will tell u its immoral... However, the majority of people in the western world will tell u polygamy (having more than one wife) is wrong and unethical, a form of marriage very wide spread in africa and the muslim world!!

All (but one) roman emperors had male lovers, all chinese emperors had male lovers, and it was common place between samurais in japan!!
