Thanks for replying! I already came across this ribbon controller. I'm not sure if I want a ribbon without a hold function. The Doepfer R2M I have has one, but I hate its bad build quality.

I thought Lorin Parker at Electric Western was working on one.mmm...leather...don't see any mention on the website right now though.
