Don't apologize for this. So what if you were completely serious? You are absolutely correct. Having a child is a big deal and yet so many treat it as if it were nothing. We need to start discussing this subject, its important. And for people out there with a knee to jerk reaction as it being WRONG, I ask WHY? why is it wrong to control having a child, whether naturally or by adoption? There are only benefits to do doing so.

Thank you for your comments about Christians and homosexuality. However, I think I'm one of the few who attend a Southern Baptist Church who doesn't judge one's sexuality. I have to deal with close minded views daily. I am in the opinion that God loves ALL of us. I usually keep my opinions to myself, since I'm not good at confrontation. Thank YOU for having an open mind about Christians... We aren't all closed minded and hypocritical.

I agree with the comments on parents. My parents had to go through a lot also to adopt me and my brother. (That was in the 60s! I am sure it is more difficult now!)They never thought it was fair that anyone can give birth. They wanted children so much and could not have any. I do not understand favoring the biological parent over the adoptive ones in custody either. Adoptive parents are just as much parents if not more so!

Hi Sam, doesn't Heather Mills qualify as a one legged person appearing on Dancing with the Stars. Did missing only half her leg bump her out of the full leg loss category? Perplexed! Help.

She does not qualify. If you have prosthetics, you can't be on the show. I mean missing a leg! No prosthetics, no nothing. One legged dancing. I'm sure it's in the works.

sam, there was someone with one leg who was on "dancing with the stars" last season. heather mills. but she wore her prosthetic leg. she actually did very well:-) another wonderful "ask sam". your philosophy vlog was so deep. it was really hard to make a comment on that one. you said it all:-) xoxo-vicki

A few years ago Heather Mills was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars and one of her legs was fake. She was hit by a motorcycle many years ago and she lots her leg.
