  • Check out the video "C.S. Lewis on Free Will & The Problem of Evil."

  • @Guthixpwnsyou, its true i never seen the god , but i felt his presence, i dont think any religion is perfect i thank religion it taught me about god ,i dont blindly trust every religious books ,i am not religious my self but the problem is no matter how much i deny his presence but the truth there some one who is more powerful then every one on this earth god is not my imagination its truth thats my experience.

  • You sound like Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory. :)

  • Where are known atheists buried? they never take part in a religious ceremony ? how they marry ? how do they name there children ?

  • @alexsteelxx I don't think you need to believe in in Imaginary man that didn't exist in the first place to marry, marriage is a principle that two people come together to live. Atheists actually may be cremated or buried depending on how they choose. Burial was invented by early man to get rid of decomposing bodies that created bad odor, not for any imaginary god. Kids were named and sex was had long before people fabricated god. Why take place in religious ceremony just time wasted.

  • I don't understand. So God cannot be unjust, because that is putting him in a box? I don't know how logical this argument is, Jari.

A better way to put it:

Why must this "moral law giver" be God? Plenty of non-believers have morals based on the requirements for living in a society. If we didn't have a book of rules, would we all go on a killing frenzy?

  • I think the author of this video should watch "Ultimate Proof of Creation" and "Nuclear Strength Apologetics" by Dr Jason Lisle.

Transcendental apologetics are irrefutable. They address every argument in existence (including all of the ones in this video).

I'm yet to see anyone who has ever been able to refute the transcendental method. Totally unstoppable.

  • @Daracon75 Yet all of these things have been refuted. SAD FOR YOUR IMAGINARY MAN

  • @Guthixpwnsyou Of course they haven't... you just wish they were, because you hate them - so in your mind you allow yourself to be willfully ignorant of the truth and just "tell yourself" that they've been refuted to ease the pain. I've talked to over 1,000 atheists here on youtube, and I've never lost debate to a single one of them. All atheists can do is respond with "oh you're stupid and wrong" instead of addressing my arguments - because they can't rationally defend their own worldview.

  • @Daracon75 Because arguing with you is pointless. You make some dumbass logic and then claim satan is in us. I was once a christian then I got smart and became atheist. No I don't wish they were refuted, they were refuted. Quit playing mind checkers with me and face the facts.

  • @Guthixpwnsyou Like I said - you're being willfully ignorant. You were never a Christian because being a Christian means you have a relationship with the creator. You can't know someone and then turn around and say you never knew that person. You never knew him to begin with.

I make dumbass logic? Oh you wanna talk about logic? You couldn't even have logic if God didn't exist because in a naturalistic universe you can't have laws of logic. There's some real irony for you.

  • @Daracon75 You can't physically meet god.

  • "now let me post something to a Jew." lol

    4:32

    OT:

    I am an Atheist.

  • Ah the "what is your question?" story.

It never ceases to amaze me how many of these religious pundits appear to have had the exact same experience and given the exact same answer (while inferring of course that the answer is their own spontaneous original response to the fictional students question).

Truth is, this story is wheeled out by many, many such pundits as it gets a nice applause from an audience of apologetics and makes the pundit look/feel good.

  • Cold doesnot exist its just the absents of heat, darkness does not exist its just the absents light, evil does not exist its just the absens of gad.

  • @INMATE2468 Gad? doesnot? absents? Your grammar rapes my eyes. But if god is everywhere then why is there evil? I quote the old argument.

Is god willing stop evil but not able?

    Then he is not omnipotent

Is he able but not willing?

    Then he is malevolent

Is he both able and willing?

    Then whence cometh evil.

Is he neither able nor willing?

    Then why call him god.

  • Yeah to be fair, theological proof doesn't make much sense, theology concerns belief and beliefs do not prove beliefs. Evidential proof, objective proof, theological proof is an error. The word theological typically references philisopical theories or doctrine, not objective evidence... and as such will never equal proof of anything.

  • theological proof? how does a THEORY prove anything?

  • @blooshock

do you suppose that "theological" is a synonym for "theory"

  • @blooshock theological, as in theology, the study of religious faith...not theory.

  • Epicurius?

    Epicurus.

  • "Theological Proof" - the very definition of a word 'oxymoron'.

  • when i watch these vids i think to myself... i wish i was smart :( i have a really hard time keeping up with whats going on.

  • @50josh50

that's probably more my fault than you think. I hope you check out my more recent videos. I've since learned how to be a little more concise.

  • Nice commentary on the flawed "socratic" speaker. If we were to reject values-based language, we could do away with the need for theodicies. And come to think of it, why SHOULD God be all good?

  • @AugustinesCompanion Morality arises because without, society would collapse. Does it have to be more complex than that? We develop as a species towards social stability.

  • Morality is subjective, hence there is no god.

  • @FUCKyourGODmyth

    youre missing a middle term.

  • @FUCKyourGODmyth haha... go do some research into fallacious debate tactics, you and your silly Non Sequitur and Circular Arguments... silly boy.

  • @FUCKyourGODmyth come on man... your just a pundit.

  • jesus is a rip off of hercules anyway.. Lets review. Zeus god of gods has a son half man half god hercules who goes and does good deeds for people.... Now 1000 years later. God sends his son jesus half man god to do...what yes good deeds for people.

  • Humans are the moral law givers.

  • @FUCKyourGODmyth in a way yes but every human has a different understanding of moral law. For example some people think its the end of the world if someone puts there elbows on a table, but others like me don't give a shit. so if everybody has a slightly different understanding of moral law that proves that it can't possibly be made by one person.

  • @SmacktalkeReviews I agree with you on the subjective nature of moral law, however I don't think this proves that morality can't be made by one person. I think it's a debate over enculturation rather than one about subjectivity. It's true that every person has a different understanding of morality. But at the same time every individual is part of a social group. Whichever social group rules the culture sets the moral standard. Whoever rules the social group, then, rules the moral standard.

  • religion will be gone in a hundred years or so

  • @monfu2 I think you underestimate man`s stupidity.!!

  • God created polio, science cured it. God created small-pox, science cured it. God created leprosy, science cured it. God created 2 million illnesses, virusses, parasites, scienc found cures for many of them. God created infertlity, science created in-vitro and an estimated 15 million new lives. When 100,000 innocent children died a horrible death beneath the rubble of their dwellings in Haiti, god didn``t lift a finger to help. Blessed be god. !!

  • @lizazoon Science is nothing more than a method of acquiring knowledge about what we can sense or measure. Science can be given credit for human discoveries, nothing more.

  • @Zupernova91 What other discoveries are there, but human ? Supernatural discoveries ??

  • @lizazoon There are revelations from God. Both through the Bible, miracles, and the undeniable fact that every other world-view that claims to be correct borrows from the Christian world-view.

  • @Zupernova91 there are older religion than yours friend and youl see that the bible has borrowed notions from them like jesus born by a virgin not new verry old used time and time again on a few religions ex. Krishna

  • Older religions than Christianity? Technically speaking, Christianity is an offshoot of Judaism, whose Torah (as well as Job) is older than Judaism itself, and references the beginning of mankind... so if you're talking about specific religious writings or groups compared to the Gospels/Christianity, then you are correct; but how does this (or alternate miracle-birth stories) affect the validity of the Bible? These are the tough questions you must not only ask, but answer honestly.

  • Theology, the art of word-smithing. With theology one can prove or disprove anyhting.

  • Theologically god migh exist, scientifically he can`t.

  • @lizazoon Science is based on the presupposition that God exists. Denying God's existence doesn't change that.

  • @Zupernova91 What a silly statement. Absolute bullshit. The realm of science is the natural world, not the supernatural.

  • @lizazoon The realm of science is indeed the natural world. Science, however, presupposes the fact that the universal laws of nature exist and do not change. The only world-view that successfully makes sense of all the universal laws of nature is Christianity, making the existence of the Christian God an undeniable presupposition of science. I challenge you to try and prove otherwise.

  • that comment was for commomcoward...

  • morality is programmed through experience based off of basic senses that give us feelings of "bad" and "good"

anything that triggers good senses... is good

andything that triggers bad sense is... well bad

these triggers come about by evolution because only properly arranged systems would allow for replication. (frog that don't feel pain aren't afraid to jump in lava... but doing so kills them.... too bad, no procreation)

frogs that do feel pain say pain is bad and avoid it. and... procreate

  • some people think having sex with children feels good...does that make it right?? in their mind its right, in yours its wrong...so i guess good and evil is just a matter of opinion then....so everyone in prison is in there based on opinion, not a 'fact' that they were wrong....in that case, its all about majority rules, nothing is proven to be fact, just what the majority believes is the supposed 'truth'...your own logic turns your world upside down...

  • This logic is so bad. It is nothing more that a strawman argument.

Good versus Evil is a subjective judgement that we all make.

No "moral law" is required. The only thing that is required is for us to have a means by which we determine that which is a good versus evil.

For some the means is by reason, logic & the consideration of evidence

For others the means is to read the contents of an ancient book of unknown origin and dubious contents

You decide which is the better method.

  • Wiht theology, one can prove or disprove anything. Theology: the art of putting a reasonable cloak on otherwise unreasonable propositions.

  • Watch my video "proof God exists" I can answer it plainly and simply using common sense.

  • @Michaeltanase If you can proof it, you should apply for a Nobel Prize.

  • @RaytownSoClassof2010 XD

    Trololololololol

  • heres one thing to think about for you belivers in evolution if it were true then why do apes and monkeys exists because by evolution says that the millions of years that they would have evoled but they didnt so they would not exists now but as we know apes and monkeys do exist so that means evolution is a sham. and god is real thanks.

  • @peter45561 WOOOOOOW, EDUCATION MUCH?

We evolved alongside chimpanzees and bonobos, not from them.

Both Great Danes and Chihuahuas, as different as they are, came from wolves, are wolves extinct?

  • @noeyedeer2jk89sx but they are still dogs. i have a question. Can you explain the Origin of anything? And can you explain how a male and female of a species "evolved" at the exact same time in order to reproduce. Because I can explain the order of species, quite simply from the Bible, along with the origin of everything.

  • @fcbcpastor The bible is no science book. The bible is no history book. The bible is a book of faith: Words of our pastor. The creation story in Genesis is so infantile, that even your own christian colleges don`t teach it. From the 106 colleges that form the " Christian Coalition of Colleges" only 5 teach Genesis litterally. All others teach it`s allegory, in other words, fiction.

  • I believe he is real, but really you have to think, there are things out in the universe that we can't even comprehend. The bible is the most important book and it gives information on how the world began and how it is going to end, but the bible gives hope saying all believers and people who love god will join him in heaven for enternity. It gives you moral values to live by and hope that god is comming soon, it's great, it is real. Also evolution, how do we know it happened we were'nt here.

  • A bit long-winded but eventually you hit the nail on the head.

  • Good and evil don't require a law giver, nor do they require that an individual should have his or her own definition. Evil destroys or encourages destruction. Destruction doesn't support continuation of a species. Good and evil are instincts supported by evolution. Many animals with semi-large brains behave kindly toward their sick, care for their offspring, and morn the dead.

  • @pburto Evolution is a lie.If it was real, then wouldn't humans share Earth with other sentient species that had the chance to evolve intelligence? And why is it we don't see species in between an ape and a human or single celled organisms evolving into multi-celled organisms?

  • @spartan08021 (A) Because a multiple intelligent species wage war in competition for resources, AND intelligence isn't always beneficial for survival. (Indeed it may destroy us.) (B) We didn't evolve from apes, we evolved from other now-extinct species. But, fossils of intermediary species do exist. (C)Evolution from single to multi-celled species... Are you saying that lack of 1-1/2 cell species disproves evolution? You can go directly to a 2-cell organism via symbiosis. It happens a lot.

  • GOD is REAL miracles happen every day and not just ones like o look i found my pencil i lost yesterday ppl are tht are paralysed are healed everyday not just in the old times in the bible but in modern day :)

  • @robben1100

So when somebody gets better, don't thank the doctor, an educated man who helped that person out, thank "sky daddy"!

  • Bart Ehrman wrote about this problem in his book "God's Problem". He became an agnostic as a result of this problem of suffering.

I see suffering as self-limiting. It ceases upon the death of the sufferer. The afterlife is so good that the former suffering will disappear into the limbo of lost memories.

  • If god wanted us to believe, all he had to do was insert, somewhere in the bible---"E=mc²"--- Instead of 6th grade science.

  • when you say "it can't be god" you are making up your own god with your own standards of whatever you think God should be, or is. you state that God can't be just or loving and still be god, when in fact, the God of the Bible is love and is just. Correct me if i'm wrong on what i believe to be ur belief. I'm tired as I write this so I might not be understanding what you're saying completely.

  • @KONGtuffSu -- the God of the Bible is love and is just.--Exodus 32:26

Moses, and he said to them, " The LORD God of Israel commands you go through the camp, killing your relatives, your friends, and your neighbors." The men of the Levi tribe followed his orders, and that day they killed about three thousand men. Moses said to them, " You obeyed the LORD and did what was right, and so you will serve as his priests . the LORD has blessed you

  • @lizazoon He did that in response to worshipping false gods. What do you think He is going to do to you for your total disbelief? John 3:16-18

  • The bible is just an ancient book of fairytales, it's as believeable as Grimms Fairytales.

  • The God Delusion didn’t turn me into an atheist, The Holy Bible did. Google Doe’s Account.

  • good and evil varies between different people

take for example if you put 2 people in an island with only enuff food for one person

we all know what would happen

  • classic moral law argument that he presents, easily refuted. there doesn't have to be a moral law giver because a society cannot function without moral laws and soon creates them. there is a perfectly satisfactory explanation of all these unintelligent propositions.

the theist proposes a false dichotomy, wherein he makes it sound like all possibilities have been exausted, yet they have not. and what you describe is a red herring, that is, not answering the question. have a good day. =]

  • I have more on the dominion thing, but i'm tired now.....i'm gonna go eat.

  • That students question goes back to genisus. If you read the first chapter you'll find that God gave power and dominian over the earth and everthing in it to man. So earth is the dominan of man, not God. The way it was set up was God was and still is in charge of governing heaven and the universe and man was charged with governing or ruling over the earth. So this is our domain. Whatever happens here is because of us not God.

  • To answer that students question, why does a good God allow evil if he's so good, first you have to understand the origin of evil. First Lucifer and his fallen Angels second demons and evil spirits third the human heart and fourth the influence of whatever belief system and life style you choose to live under.

  • We see rilgion as we can do this or can 't do that because we bound to something else....sin. Thats where the Gospel of Jesus comes in and his work on the cross, the message of grace. The purpose is to free the human heart from sin....example: suppose some one has greed in his or her heart, the desire for money. The gospel is designed to remove that desire. If the desire is removed the person is now free to do good. This is real freedom the power to do good.

  • @Law19157 oh and Pro. 4:23...for out of it flows the issues of life, it only adresses the human heart not famines or natural disasters...most of societies problems come fom the human heart that does not include famines or natural disasters, thats a different topic.

  • Also the law was written to address the condition of the human heart. Proverbs 4:23 keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (KJV) or Guard your heart for out of it flows the issues of life. The law, (the ten commandmants) appears to be binding [we can't do this we can't do that] but its only because we are bound to something else...we call that the sin nature.

  • also both ultimate Good and Ultimate evil can be binding, hence the purpose of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, It was put there to eliminate any binding law so we could choose ethier good or evil, therefore utimate good is no longer binding, we can choose freely. Again God is not under any law or standard he rather is the standard and the law proceeds from within himself

  • @Law19157 oops sorry i meant to say allowing utimate good and ulimate evil to longer be binding

  • the standard ist over God, the standard is there because thats who God Is, The Standard proceeds from the very being and nature of God he is the sourse of all that is good ephisis on "source and or orgin".

  • @Law19157 oh man...i meant to say source.

  • its easy to see why god is moral and just he decides what is moral and just and the only thing God is bound by is his own word

  • Just like you to pardon my spelling I really cant be bothered to spell probably :P Ermmmm firstly your attempt to argue against the professors argument was interesting but sounded extremely similiar to the Euthryphro Dilema. This Dilema raises the question whether good is good because God says it is so, or because good is intrinsically good.

  • I think you are one of the few folks out here that are genuine in your response to this issue and that is a good thing. I think that Ravi did bypass the question. There is one small problem in your logic though. I think you get it right that God would have to be just and moral and loving. However, having a nature with these qualities, makes God subservient to His own nature. These are not rules that he is subject to outside of himself and are therefore not above Him, but a part of him.

  • A lot of these arguments come down to semantics. So let's put the word "evil" aside for the moment and rephrase the question that the Harvard student asked. "If God is all LOVING, then why is there so much SUFFERING in the world?" Personally, I do my best to prevent and alleviate suffering in the people that I care about, and even in strangers. Empathy leads to helping living creatures.

  • Heard some guy spent his whole life as a muslim praying to god for 30 years and get killed.. Obviusly theres a god.. No ones actually seen him and theres loads of religions with different opinions on how god created us.. That just shows none of them actually no..

  • God isn't evil, nor does he tempt any man. He does give man a free will, which is a gracious provision. He does works all things out for his own ends and will be justified in all he has created. He justifies the ungodly through His Son, when one believes in the atoning sacrifice of the Savior Jesus Christ. John 3:16 This is a grace provision to each person who is born under sin and fallen short of the glory of God, for there is no one righteous, not even one.

  • I think that the whole debate between atheists and theists is, though at times rather amusing, a complete waste of time. Both sides are 100% convinced that they are right and neither has irrefutable proof for their arguments (though they might think it is).

  • @ienjoyjello I believe that these debates are VERY worthwhile. I, and I hope MOST atheists, am trying to increase people's awareness and am endeavoring to get people to THINK about what they are told is true instead of just ACCEPTING as fact anything they are told from somone who is a good at speaking in a convincing manner.

  • @ienjoyjello A teacher came across a farmer whose chickens were dying. The farmer said "one of my chickens was born under a full moon and he put a hex on the other ones" The teacher said "your chickens are dying because they are not getting enough sunlight. You need make a window in you coop"

  • @ienjoyjello The farmer said "I have been raising chickens all my life, who are you to tell me what is correct?!" The teacher diplomatically said "I know that you have a lot of experience raising chickens. Why not try my idea and see if it works?"

I WANT THE LIGHT OF REASON TO PENETRATE THE FOR OF SUPERSTITION!

  • I will choose the right most star in the five star constellation!

  • lets step away from psychological debate and go to physical. in the existence of the universe we exist only as energy which forms mass etc scientists believed we started out as a equilibrium of matter and antimatter and a universe collided with the young universe ours and upset in the balance causing an explosion as we know matter and antimatter do when unequal and released an expanding explosion leaving a gas residue which would collect and form just about everything now where would god step in

  • Your voice reminds me of Matrix Mr Smith hahahaha

  • conti - there are people who can always turn things around by saying if God was omnipotent, why can't he do evil? If he cannot practise evil then he is not omnipotent because there are somethings he cannot do.

Christians accept that morality and good character is about of Godliness. To be justice, to love, to be merciful, to be selfless is to be Godly. One develops these qualities in order to reflect the image of God.

  • wenwen1111, You're not using your own mind to think about what you're saying. If god is the all good & all loving & has no kind of bad about him, & he created everything that is, including our minds, then there would be no notion of disobedience, evil or hate If the mindset for hate was never created, then it couldn't spawn into something in the first place. The fear of "evil" caused by religion has only created it. More people have been murdered in the name of religion than for any other reason

  • I don't think that by saying God is just is putting God under the moral setting of justice and that God is subserviant to Justice.

Justice is a character of God, as is love, mercy etc. They are not contraints but descriptions. The two are not the same.

God creates us in his images. We have the free will to choose and decide on our actions be it bad or good. God also exercises that free will and acts on his character which is the list of things you mentioned

  • I hope that one day you will find the answers to your questions and that God may open your eyes to the truth even if it takes you going through a horrible experience like I did. I think it was well worth the pain and suffering. I now know that he is real and that there will be life after death. I will put my hope in him and spread my testimony to as many as have an ear to listen.

  • And on that day, I too will polish Thor's mighty hammer and praise in his having used it to forge the universe.

  • I will join you in praising mighty Mjöllnir!

  • Please watch the Aron Ruso interviews and videos. Watch the countless videos that will prove to you that September 11 attacks were done by the USA to take control of the oil and little by little take control of Israel were their awaited messiah (antichrist) is coming from. Watch bohemian grove so you can see that our leaders worship Satanic dieties and partake in homosexual activity. Study free masonry and the illuminati and start seeing the big picture. Truth is stranger than fiction.

  • Not to mention the prophetic evidence and accuracy of the bible. So many prophecies that have been fulfilled and are being fulfilled as we speak. Namely the coming of the one world order and one world religion with the antichrist at the head of authority. Why do you think they are collapsing the dollar? They are purposely doing it to get rid of CASH money and bring in the RFID chip technology (666 mark of the beast)

in order to control the world.

  • What prophecies have been forfilled that we not post hoc?

  • Archeological evidence For example, Noah's ark was found in Turkey which shows that it wasn't just some fairy tale, the city of sodom and Gomorrah was found completely burned and petrified. At the bottom of the red sea they found parts of pharao's chariots which coincides with the story of exodus in the bible. Giant skeletons have been found in different parts of the world which proves the story of Genesis when it says that there where Giants in those days.

  • Search YT for

"Atheist Experience - Matt destroys a Christian"

A perfect example how an Atheist comes up with good arguments he obtained through critical thinking. The Christian tries to defend himself, but he slowly ties himself up in this conversation and he probably realised that religion isn't as perfect as he thinks... cuz he shuts up in the last few mins.

  • I'll watch it and get back to you tonight.

  • I can relate to the atheist. Alot of his points and questions are very logical and even watching the video makes me think that if God wouldn't have revealed himself to me the way he did, I'm almost 100% sure I would have become an atheist. Most of what atheists argue against God though, doesn't leave the realm of: If God was all loving why did he do this or that?

They won't touch the actual material evidence that has been found.........

  • Anyone noticed that the most intellectual people are atheists. That reminds me of the following quote: "Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful."

    --Seneca the Younger 4 b.c.- 65 a.d.

  • It depends on how you define intellectual. Do you refer only to philosophers? (hence the quote given) or will you account for intellecturals in every field, be it science, education, health etc.

There are many Christians on the forefront of these fields.

  • The answer to his question is that you are wrong to assume that god is not all loving just because there are evils here. That is the meaning of our lives. To experience suffering, pain and evil, so that after we die we never experience it again and understand what it is. Now it holds meaning. Parents do the same with children, they must learn what is right, they need to fall off their bike and get some cuts and bruises before they learn how to live the right way from then on.

  • who said that moral laws had to come from God?

  • FINAL POST

the blood of my savior Jesus Christ protects me from all demon angels including Lucifer/Satan himself. This experience has completely shattered any doubt in my mind and heart about the existence of God. He is real, life is not what it seems, see through the lies and repent and come to your maker. He loves you all no matter what you have done or what you have become. Accept Jesus before you lose your opportunity for there is no other way to the father but through him. God be with u.

  • You say that Jesus Christ protects you from demons including Satan.

Here's a simple question for you: if god is all powerful, why does he allow Satan to exist?

I know this is a hard question, and Christians tend to dodge it, but what the hell, Im gonna try my luck with you.

And all you do is rephrasing the same shit as all other Christians are doing, could you please start thinking for yourself?

  • I completely understand your questions and your doubts because I once had the same questions and doubts before I became a believer. I am not an ordinary believer, like most who have been brought up their whole lives in a certain religion, and blindly follow something that has been around them since childhood. I was made a believer through a real life, supernatural experience. This experience was so strong, that no matter what anyone says, the truth will remain clear to me, that GOD IS REAL...

  • Now that the question of: "IS GOD REAL?" has been answered to me, the question you have: "if god is all powerful, why does he allow Satan to exist?"

doesn't really bother me like it did when I was skeptical about his existence. I believe that question is used by those who want an excuse not to believe in God because they don't want to live a righteous life. Im not saying you are one of them as there are also those who genuinely want to know why God would allow Satan to exist...........

  • I have come to the understanding that God has blessed mankind with one of his biggest gifts, and yet it's our biggest responsibility. Do you know what Gift i am talking about? FREEDOM OF CHOICE. When you understand the value of such a responsibility, you will never ask such questions. There was no Satan at one point. Lucifer was given Freedom of choice and he chose to rebel against God and that is when he became an enemy of God and Satan which means "accuser" and "tempter"...

  • Yeah, but then again, if God loves us so much, why would he create Satan?? And if God is all powerfull why didn't he beat Satan yet?

And a personal question, why would you pray to an immoral God? Not that he exists, but the idea... he allows murder and slavery. (read exodus 21)

Would you put a kid to death when he curses one of his parents, probably not.But according to your God,it is allowed. He allows things that most people regard as immoral.Even if he existed, i'd tell him to go fk himself

  • I am not a religious fanatic, simply a believer. I do not belong to any religion, I have a personal relationship with God and believe in his Son Jesus Christ. Religion will not save you.

Yes the laws of God were strict in those times. God saw that not a single human could keep his commandments without flaw and that is exactly why he sent his son Jesus. He loved us enough to sacrifice his holy son so that you could be saved if only you repent and turn away from sin even if you are not perfect

  • God laws were strict those times? That probably has a sociological answer. However, if God is infinite, 2000 years is nothing to him, and why would he suddenly 'losen up' these rules.

I think it all has to do with norms and values that change over time, not to mention they differ per society... Christianity was merely based on the norms and values of a certain society in a country 2000 years ago. There was no strict authority to control the society, so religion was a good idea. But not anymore.

  • That is why there so much evil in this world. Not because it's so much that God allows it, but rather we as a human race allow it. There are murderes, rapists, sexual immorality, wars, starvation, etc, etc, because we allow it. Even though demon spirits do tempt us (wether we are even aware of it or not) We ultimatley have the final choice of what we become and what we do, they cannot force us to do anything, just tempt us mentally.Let's take responsibility 4 our actions and not blame God 4them

  • You know why people starve?Let's take Africa for example, most of that continent is too dry to grow anything. How is this fair to people in Europe for example, where we can grow almost anything and have a surplus of everything?Did you even consider that life could be unfair and that no higher power is watching over us,even though most of us like to think so . And then again, according to the bible it's ok to murder people under God's eyes, which goes against all my morals.. oh hes full of love

  • People starve in africa and other places not because of Geological weather, but because of the greedy elite banking system (which includes many Satanic groups like the Bilderberg's and the Rockafellar's and many free masons like most of our US presidents) that take the wealth and resources of all the world and keep keep it only for themselves. Africa has the richest Gold mines in the world. They could buy everything they need to survive and then some but guess who takes all the Gold???

  • No, when a society can provide themselves with the basic needs, they start to focus on other things. Like the Europeans for example, they started to explore. Africa never had this chance, not even before any colonist set foot on their continent.

  • Take mexcio for example, its not as bad put the people there are very poor. Why is that if Mexico has so many resources? 95% of all the produce like vegetables and fruits and some meats that americans get at their grocery store comes from mexico. The governments are corrupt and they sell theirsleves to the strongest nations in return for whatever they want.We have the resources and technology TODAY to feed the entire world but unfortunatley the greedy want more for themselves and less for the rest

  • Aren't most Mexicans worshipping the same God as you?

Btw, how many people were killed in the name of God? Personally I don't believe God can exist, but even if he did, he's one fkin' bastard.

  • The Vatican and the Catholic Church are a very Satanic organization. They make people believe they are worshipping the God of the bible, but yet they tell people to confess their sins to mere men for forgiveness. Jesus said there is no way to the father but through me. They allow people to worship idols made of wood, metals, and glass. They are the ONLY religion that has POLITICAL POWER. Jesus warned about the false teachers (wolves in sheep's clothing) that would come in his name to deceive many

  • Hmm, God gave people a free will, but if you are not thinking like he wants you to think, you're Satanic. Wow, then the largest part of the world's population must be under Satan's control. God the almighty is losing a battle here, oh my.

to go to God once again for help in prayer. I remebered that in the bible, the disciples would cast out demons in the name of Jesus the son of God. One day when I was alone, opened my bible and started praying to God as I walked around room for room and asking for him to cast the demons from my home in the name of Jesus and also said it to them personally. After that day, we have never been bothered again. Since then everyone has moved out except for me. I am not afraid though.......

that God had answered my prayer and that he had acted and had left his footprint as evidence and proof in my heart that he is real. Although they stopped attacking me and I never saw anything supernatural after that, they started attacking my family members. I still remember when my brother woke us all up yelling and when he settled down, he said to me NOW I BELEIVE YOU. hahahahah, that was actually funny to me. Then it happened to my sister and then my mom. Finally I decided to....

Would never have anything to do with the occult or satanism, and that I would burn all the books and tools I had bought to contact these demons. I literally prayed myself to sleep because I can't remember when I went to sleep that night.

To my surprise and to the glory of God the next morning when I woke up, I couldn't help to notice that I felt great. I didn't have that ever present feeling of fear and somehow I knew that the demons weren't going to bother me again. I knew........

  • As I laid on the couch, my legs were seperated about a foot apart, and I actually felt and saw the couch sink in that area when the spirit stepped on it. I was completely PETREFIED with fear. I quickly threw the blanket over my head and as my whole body shiverred in quaking fear, I started praying to God. I said lord if you are real, please forgive me for contacting these demons. I made a promise to God that if he would make these demons stop attacking me and got rid of them, that I would.......

Then in the corner of my room towards the celieng I saw a black orb like shadow come through the wall from outside and was just hovering in the corner. I started to get freaked out at this point and suddenly it zoomed directly over my head. When I looked up, it had disappeared. Immediatley after it vanished I heard footsteps coming from the living room. Then I could hear them creeking the wooden hallway that leads to my room.

Then I heard the steps enter my room walking towards me.....

They actually thought I was going crazy or something. These attacks happened everytime I went to sleep. I would be afraid to fall asleep. One day, I was laying down in my room with the light off and I was just thinking about different things. There was little visibility in my room because the little green light on my pc's speaker was on and it barely illuminated the room. Then against the wall I saw shadows in the figures of men flying back and forth very fast and I said what the heck?

  • POST 4

On top of me holding me down and it was like I was paralyzed and I tried to yell and scream for help but I couldn't even open my mouth. At the same time I would feel this horrible sensation of the life being sucked out of me as I slowly slipped away into death. I don't know how else to explain it but it is the worst feeling I have ever felt. I never told my family that I was into the occult but when that happened I told my Mom and brothers and sisters. They didn't believe me........

  • POST 3

After a while though, I noticed that I had a sense of fear all of the time for no reason and I felt like someone was always watching me. Then they started doing physical things in my home. Sometimes I would be standing in the kitchen and would feel someone pull the back of my shirt and when I would turn around, no one was there. I knew at that moment that these demons were inhabiting my home. Things got worse though. When I would fall asleep, I would wake up feeling something invisible..

  • POST 2

When I was in high school, I started becoming interested in the occult. I started playing with ouija boards and bought witch craft books and different tools in order to summon demon spirits. I was a bit skeptical at first if these things could be possible. To my surprise I started to use the ouija board successfully and began to contact different demons and a few of them helped me out in a few situations. These beings are REAL and they do have power!................

  • To the maker of this video....

There was a time in my life where I didn't believe in God. I couldn't make sense of alot of things in this world. I had the same doubts and questions about God that most unbelievers do today.

Had it not been for a horrific experience I went through involving demon spirits/fallen angels, then I would have become an athiest. I thank God that he allowed these things to happen (even though they were horrible) to me so that my eyes could be open to the truth....

  • This guy could be a complete genius and all of this but his voice and the way he talks just makes me want to fuckin slap the shit out of him. Dude acts like a complete douche-bag with his uppity ass attitude. faggot.

  • Are you basing what a genius is by the way he talks and the 'attitude' he has?

  • no im saying the asshole acts like he THINKS hes a genius with the way he talks and his overall attitude.

  • you referring to me or the professor in the video?

  • you dickhead

  • well, whatever

  • Who is that professor anyway? Maybe you know?

  • @Birdman37: so you know how he thinks just by watching something prerecorded?

  • this guy has been smoking some grass

  • God tells us who he is (just, love, omnipresent , etc). I cannot set a standard for God or else he wouldn't be God. that would make me God. God does not live under standards (Just, love, omnipresent etc) it is simply who he is. 1 john 4:8 God is Love. therefore He does not live under it

  • A: If God wishes to remove evil and has the power to do so, why doesn't he?

B: If you accept that there is such a thing as evil, you must accept there is such a thing as good?

A: No. I do not accept either good or evil. I believe morality is subjective. You are the one who believes in good and evil. That is why i pose the question to you.

B: If there is no evil, then there is no problem surely?

  • God gave man free will. To choose good or evil

  • A: There is no problem for me because i don't believe in God. A world without good or evil would however undermine your entire belief, so i assume you do not accept it. Therefore the question still applies.

B: Oh yeah, i suppose i'm an utter nob.

  • This is a good video Jonathan and quite interesting.. I am a Muslim and we believe God is Loving, Forgiving etc etc but at the same time He is the Avenger, the Punisher, The propitious, etc and how much He does this is His will alone. So we might see evil but the evil and punishment is just and fair even if you do not understand it- beyond our limited minds. We as Muslims don't judge God's decisions but accept whatever is given is given. Now you might say that's a contradiction but it really CON

  • @trueguynolies

CONT.. isn't a contradiction because we believe God to be Loving and NOT ALL Loving, God to be the One who Punishes but NOT ALL Punisher etc etc and it's through God's infinite wisdom that He makes those decisions as He has the authority to do so! You might not agree but it's ok I thought I'd add to the debate and give some info on the Islamic perspective!

  • I personally as an athiest have never asked the question of why would an all loving and perfect Go dallow evil because I reasoned at a very young age that whether something is good or evil depeds 100% on your point of view. Christians think Muslims are evil. Muslims think Christians are evil .The moral truths that we hold dear have entirely to do with how we see things. My question for any theist is where does God come from? They say he was always there, which is totally impossible.

  • its like asking how does my brain tells the heart to beat while u dont knw how unless u study that at school...its something above the human being to understand so u cant ask a question like that :)

  • RELIGION IS SLAVERY. I FOLLOW JESUS.

  • I disagree:

An all loving and just God allows evil because he loves you so much that he wants you to have freewill without evil you would not have a choice to make an evil or bad act. That is my reasoning and that of my family.
