I found a wounded sterling once, we t0ook it to the vet but pretty sure it wouldve been straight into the bin after we left. People shouldnt be so down on suposed feral animals, humans are little better, we invade any terrain and exploit it just the same and nobody is keeping our nu bers in control, I like sterlings
Wish you'd take all the Starlings from US back to the UK! They are awful and kill off many native US birds, including predating on Purple Martins. Those beaks peck baby Purple Martins to death and destroy native bird eggs.
Not originally, they were a "gift" from India due to their iridescent feathers. Sadly, they breed like crazy and pretty much out eat most other birds in Urban areas. Still, they are interesting.
Starlings aren't normally this tame in the wild...are they trained??
