I can not speak for all theme parks but I know at knott's berry farm they have the safest rides. Acidents happen but Cedar fair (Knotts) does everything in there power to prevent that. I used to work for the ride safety department till I was hit by a rollercoaster lol jk. But seriosly they constantly test and retest and go over every part.
