why is it that we Liberians always try our best to back the wrong things? you know this Music is not a Liberian music but yet, when people say it's not Liberian you are quick to call them "haters". come on now people, let's sit down and reason for a moment...this music was not song in any of the 16 dialects spoken in Liberia nor the Liberian pidgin English, it doesn't have a Liberian beat...so why is it called "Liberian music"? is it because the singers claim to be Liberians?
Hi brother, Narbi is my name. Blood Liberian from 72nd S.K.D blvd. Am not here to fight but rather help find a solution to this problem. Due to our civil war, we have liberians living somany places far away from home. And they have forgotten their traditional languages. So if an individual post a music in another language and called it liberian song we should first show some appreciation. Because I don't think USA, will do a good work and say liberia did that...True or False?
@MrPrince2024 I understand what you're trying to get at Bro, But I still stand where I stand on this issue. the fact that Liberians traveled due to the war should not be an accuse to completely neglect their own and totally copy another man's own and call it Liberian. It's about time we Liberians promote our own (Liberia's own not copied). I know a lot of foreigners (my Dad) who have lived in Liberia for ages dey speak Liberia pidgin/dialects bt yt dey hav nt forgotten theirs.
Not only that they try to do ivorian they even have balls to speak french when we all know Liberia is not a french speaking country guys be creative and stick to wht you know fools Damn it!!
This would've been a good song if there was lyrics to it. What the yell are you talking about. Ce n'est même pas français ni anglais. Toute la chanson n'a pas de sens
r u guys know what really ur talkin about cuz if u from nimber u will know ,cuz most of the ppl in nimber from ivory coast n everyone knows cuz of the war alot of ppl was living in ivory coast ,nice music aaron keep it up i know im not part of sagaboyz nomore but ur keep it up
If u r both Liberian and ivorian and u want 2 rep both countries in ur music, u could use Liberian beat and sing in french or the other way around. Or betta stil use both beats and sing in both Liberian english and french..dat way, u rep both countries. If u cant do dat, then u r representin only Ivory coast right now so ur music is ivorian..nt Liberian. Im a Liberian, i dnt speak french nor understand it...i dnt relate.
...no two countries r alike. Dey wear similar clothin but how a Liberian woman ties her headtie sets her aside 4rm the rest of African women. How a Liberian eats cassava differs 4rm how an ivorian eats his. So, there is a big difference b/w Liberian music and dat of ivory coast.dats y we call dem Liberian music and Ivorian music. Ivorian drum beats differ 4rm Liberian drum beats.
@gotfufu123 UNITED STATES OF AFRICA MAN! WE HAVE A LOT MORE SIMILARITIES THAN DIFFERENCEES AFRICCA IS ONE N U HAVE NOT VISITED EVERY AFRICN COUNTRY 4 U TO SAY DAT LIBERIA IS THE ONLY PLACE WERE THE EAT LIKE DIS, DRESS LIKE DIS ETC STOP BEING A WILL LYNCH MODEL NEGRO
@temwani121 call it whatever you like but the truth is the truth.I don't have to "visit" every country to know what I know...I've heard many Liberian music and many Ivorian music...I don't need a prophet to tell me that they are different. so call me whatever you want, but I will stick to my statement "this is NOT a Liberian music" I didn't even know the singers were Liberians until they said so.
Wynmack, dnt pay these ppl no mind...dey r always tryin 2 make up excuses. We all knw dat Liberia shares sum dialects with ivory coast but there r also major differences between dem...example?1. Liberia is English speakin while ivory coast is french speakin. 2. The dialects both countries share r nt exactly alike. 3. Most importantly, every country has its own culture dat sets it aside 4rm other countries..
is this a liberian song or a ivorienne song? the song is hot bro but try to rep L.I.B by singing the song in koloqua(liberian English) and be proud that you are from liberia.ha its just how i feel bro
why every time liberian stars are from 2 different countries , half ghana half liberia or half Ivorian half liberia some time half sierraleonen .I LOVE THIS SONG BRO LIB 4 LIFE.
i thank ya for the comments..but my parents are from 2 different countries (ivory coast and liberia) So i have to represent both.........Im sorry.. SAGA AP.
This is for Wynmack, you are so hater u might think u are not, we all know the real from a fake like u.... If you need a history lesson I will be your teacher. There is a huge connection between Ivory Coast and Liberia not only the fact that Liberia had a 15 plus years war that made most Liberians to adept to the Ivorians way of doing things. We also have History that connect both countries, because of that you find family members in both countries. I love the song, keep representing us...
I'm not trying to hate on the Bro. he's doing his thing, but this is not Liberian style, it has Ivorian over it. Liberian musicians need to find their own style and stop imitating.
Wft liberian niggas. Lol
