Sorry to hear that. I think the reason is partly generational and partly psycological. In our parents day they were less likely to question more likely to do as instructed. Our generation has more choices so we question things more, perhaps?. The psycological aspect is more to do with fear and denial.

They eacuated the space statin bc apparently a 5 inch pece of debris was close to hitting it at 22,000 mph. The question is, "How would they kow that?" It's fishy all this debris just started to be an issue. At the same time residents in KY, CA, NJ, n Tex have reported strange earthquake-like sonic booms.
If that tiny piece hit it would be explosive. It may have as much or likely much more mass as a .50 cal bullet and it is traveling about 12 times faster or about 32,000 feet per second vs. 2700fps for the .50 cal bullet..
One should wonder how many pieces of shrapnel are in that general orbit and how many satellites are at risk.
From your report, whatever 2 satellites that collided at least one was rather large and large enough not to complete burn up upon reentry.
A piece of debris as discussed would be accompanied with other and smaller debris traveling at the same speed. Collectively they would appear as a larger 'cloud ' or 'field' of shrapnel on radar making it easier to identify an individual and large enough piece. Over time the trajectory of this 'cloud' may slowly fall back toward the earth and 'discover' or settle into an orbit or might pass though an orbit that puts the space station at risk.

A collision likely involved enough energy to send many sized pieces into higher and lower orbits. Tracking larger objects is easy and computer models can accurately predict the odds of the trajectory of smaller and related material. They would therefore know about where to focus radar and locate small and threatening debris.

I sopke to a TUC mewmber or representitive today (i dont know what rank, but she goes to their meeetings).
Whilst fixing her bath, i asked her what she knows about politics and the fema camps etc.
She went cold on the fema camps, completely, and just said "there are osme things they cant tell you,".

hey, about the space station....
noone talked about a 1 centimeter piece. apparently they tracked a 10 to 15-cm piece.
and yes, they actually do this all the time, because they can, our technology and the fact that vacuum is so empty and clean allows for it. we can by now even optically track pieces of that size in our orbit.
the problem will be to actually get down to 1 cm, right now those pieces go untracked.
no conspiracy here, just better science than you know about.

They will keep the prices of oil down at all cost to bankrupt OPEC...it's orchastrated.

On Russia today they are predicting $200+ a barrel oil in within 3 years.
It can take 10 years to bring a new find online.
Opec could just burn its oil reserves to raise prices , Russia hurting due to low prices also .

he explains why finding new oil reserves won't really have much of an affect on how long the oil will last. We have reached the peak of oil production, the fall is now. Demand however, won't fall, or at least it wouldn't have... if not for that econmic collapse. hmmmm.

I dont know about that. People should be cautious about such definitive statements because it can be destructive.
I have no doubt that we have reached a platform in oil production but is it really peak oil, the very last platform before oil decrease? I dunno. Issue with definitive statements is that as the Earth is not fully exploited and technolgy is progressing, oil production might know a new maximum in the future therefore

Fair point, and you may well be absolutely right. It was wrong of me to be definitive, you'll notice on most of my post I try to sit on the fence as much as possible if not hug it.
However, if you do some research into oil production versus oil demand you will notice that our use of oil has been doubling approx. every 10 years. Under current (or rather say 3 months ago) rates this would mean a swifter end to the oil than most anticipated. Hope you'll argue any points I make in the future :D

BTW, I have, this week, permenently fallen out with my father after discussing "real issues". Sorry to hear that. I think the reason is partly generational and partly psycological. In our parents day they were less likely to question more likely to do as instructed. Our generation has more choices so we question things more, perhaps?. The psycological aspect is more to do with fear and denial.
I am curently exploring ways of releasing information gently and without causing violent denial.
I'm passionate and also angry at what is happening these days. I think it scares good people.

You don't hear that suicide is the world 2nd/3rd biggest killer. Heart disease, cancers, AID's, Menigitis, Stroke we hear lots about. When have you ever seen a suicide awareness campagne on TV?
Depression is on the rise, I believe, because of Cognative Dissonance e.g. the Belief that I am free versus what the world tells you.

They eacuated the space statin bc apparently a 5 inch pece of debris was close to hitting it at 22,000 mph. The question is, "How would they kow that?" It's fishy all this debris just started to be an issue. At the same time residents in KY, CA, NJ, n Tex have reported strange earthquake-like sonic booms.

If that tiny piece hit it would be explosive. It may have as much or likely much more mass as a .50 cal bullet and it is traveling about 12 times faster or about 32,000 feet per second vs. 2700fps for the .50 cal bullet..
One should wonder how many pieces of shrapnel are in that general orbit and how many satellites are at risk.
From your report, whatever 2 satellites that collided at least one was rather large and large enough not to complete burn up upon reentry.

A piece of debris as discussed would be accompanied with other and smaller debris traveling at the same speed. Collectively they would appear as a larger 'cloud ' or 'field' of shrapnel on radar making it easier to identify an individual and large enough piece. Over time the trajectory of this 'cloud' may slowly fall back toward the earth and 'discover' or settle into an orbit or might pass though an orbit that puts the space station at risk.

As I remember my physics, I'm not surprised that it would take days or weeks before the debris to present a problem or threat. Even without radar, what they can do with super computers and quantum mechanics these days, is amazing. They can predict the probability of the behavior , speed or position of quarks and other subatomic particles well enough. There is no radar to track. It is all mathematical equation. Yeah. and the debris floating on top of us is manmade, so enjoy it, before some of it falls to earth and becomes lodged in your gray matter. A long time ago a magazine reported a guy taking a crap in his own home, minding his own business and a meteorite entered through the roof of the bathroom, pierced the poor guy in the head and the object was found near his appendix. Talk about getting a break! So watch out for space junk, it can be a pain!

First off, I ain't no rocket scientist, yet here ya go.... They have for some time been tracking 'space junk'. A collision likely involved enough energy to send many sized pieces into higher and lower orbits. Tracking larger objects is easy and computer models can accurately predict the odds of the trajectory of smaller and related material. They would therefore know about where to focus radar and locate small and threatening debris.

CHINA: deal with China is - ANY news today or this week needs to be taken with a grain of salt. We Americans had a spy ship up their butt. China got mad. In a armchair general myself, and as they say RUBBING IS RACING. Messing with each other is part of the game. However: we then sent ARMED ships to 'respond' to China, an IDIOT MOVE that makes us look weak and cowardly in the Chinese mind. VERY un-Sun Tsu as it were. China has been PROVOKED by that idiot move, and will SPEAK accordingly.

Just me - but wish the 'haters' got less impact. It is kind of 'my thing' and the mental underclass - that is the only tool they have, and that sucks because it is a good one. Insults and character assassination is attracted by success like the people who hurl it are flies attracted to cow pies. Leave them wondering if you ever saw it at all. Just encourages them, and makes it seem their demoralization attack in leaving marks. IT IS PRAISE of the weak. Be flattered even.
