  • Would be great to see her double heading on the Great Eastern line with Oliver Cromwell from London Liverpool Street to Norwich!

  • That would certainly be a sight to see, never say never!!

  • great vid/nice shots/lovely sound all the way through 5*

  • Cheers, she never seemed to give a bad performance which helps when filming.

  • Fantastic video, the last shot was stunning.

  • Thanks Daniel, that last shot is one of my favourite locations, I think they put an oily rag on the fire for the benefit of the photographers!!

  • 70000 is a pretty good arse kicker! Her sound and exaust is just awesome, she performed really well during the 90's. May she return again!

  • I read recently that she is due back this year, which was a surprise to me as I thought she was some years off. Be great if it's correct.

  • Bloody hell are you sure about that Austin??? I thought the same too, last time I saw pics in STEAM Railway mag of 70000 at Crewe with her boiler looking worse conditioned.

Coincidently I bought the latest Hornby model of 70000 today.

  • Page 72 of the March 'Railway Magazine'. I'll believe it when I see it !! I had the original Triang model of 70000 more years ago than I care to remember!

  • Marvellous film, great sound. Thankyou.

    Rob
