@lillemig1993 That is the mystery cat Elaine Page plays that cat and also plays Grizabella. If you notice that costume is the other costume she is wearing under Grizabella. So maybe that is Grizabella before everyone hated her..

If no one ever noticed that the first couple of scenes were when the cats were younger, did you notice rum tugger didnt have his over coat and big mane. and asparagus was younger and so was old deuteronomy and grizabella. i dont know what scene they got older though... hope this helped! :)

However, you can see the different characters interacting in ways that imply they're mates, or siblings, or what have you. Certain relationships seem to be implied in the majority of productions.

However, there is nothing official, and the individual relationships change based on what production you watch, not to mention you're really free to decide for yourself.

one of the things i love about this musical is the makeup. i was fun to pin the male actors down at school and make them up! rather worringly, they seemed rather keen on the mascara... they hardly complained at all... :D
