Compare ANY episode from season 4 - 8 and then grab ANY episode after season 10 and tell me that they're good. It's not just that they've had to change or whatever, they seem to have pointed more towards zany obvious gags and celebrity cameos over the subtle and beautifully crafted jokes of the simpsons of the 90's.

It breaks my heart because even now I still laugh harder at the early ones than anything else.

You can't honestly say with a straight face that Family Guy always has the same jokes and the Simpsons doesn't.  Because both of them do. The Simpsons jumped the shark around season 9 or 10. Now they've been renewed for ANOTHER season. It makes no sense why they ended King of the Hill and not The Simpsons.
