He does NOT want anarchy as you describe. He wants to return government to its proper function and restrain it with the chains of the constitution. This is the only way to have a just government BY and FOR the people.

Ron Paul did not predict the housing collapse. He blamed the whole thing on the Federal Reserve which is like drowning your kids in the bath tub and blaming the water company. Ron Paul claims inflation is best measured by the price of gold. Then we've had annual rate of inflation of 20% for the past decade. Govt spending has increased 6.6% a year for the past decade. So govt spending has decreased 14% a year in inflation adjusted dollars by Ron Paul's math.
Also, Tom. buddy, I love ya, but you say "freakin'" waaaaay too much. It scares little old ladies and church folks, plus it kinda conveys to the world that you're the kinda guy who frequently drops "F-Bombs", it's okay, I am too. I think the reason states are putting their primaries earlier is because they see the popularity of Ron Paul increasing. They want to limit his exposure even further. The party makes the decision about primary dates. If you have to register 12 weeks before, people that haven't already switched to vote for Ron Paul may not be able to. New Hampshire is thinking about moving up their primaries to Dec 5. Every other early primary states have moved theirs up to early Jan.

I liked the message of that advertisement, but not the delivery. American's are primed and ready for an honest and virtuous leader, and Paul's campaign should be a dignified one to show them he is that man. American's are tired of negative campaigning. The ad has two different messages; the positives of who is Ron Paul, and the negatives of who is Romney and Perry. Both of these messages are important, but should be delivered separately.
All the other candidates are "plastic" because that is what is necessary to win a majority vote. Even if your policies were right, and they are not, you would need to make everybody a pseudo-expert to even understand what you're saying. Otherwise you must be "plastic" and manipulate the voters with propaganda, which the Paul crowds does despite its protestations to the contrary, but which Ron Paul himself seems to be too clumsy to do. He does try, tho, by calling the US an "empire" etc.

@amknafla I don't think there's any changing the fact that the political winners must win with a certain amount of manipulation. It's hard enough to reason with one person. You can't reason with 300,000,000, or whatever. Paul's followers on YouTube do the same thing. As for his "pure motives," I believe I can't know about that, but I assume he is genuine for the most part. I think his policies would be a disaster, even though he is intelligent. Intelligent people can honestly disagree.

Even though he doesn't necessarily LOOK like a president (even though looks SHOULD be irrelevant), I think people are really liking the fact that he is a genuine guy, and on top of that, he's a smart dude, has an amazingly consistent track record for defending the constitution, and his policies (contrary to your belief) make A LOT of sense. As a rational person I find it very difficult to argue against libertarianism.
The Koch brothers, contrary to the leftist conspiracy theorists, are libertarian billionaires who hold the same basic freedom ideals as Ron Paul. Not sure why they don't fund Ron Paul. Or it might be that Ron Paul won't accept their money so as not to look like he's a corporatist.

I really hope there are some millionaires and billionaires who'll come out to bat for Ron. There must be some wealthy individuals who realise the benefit of getting this guy in office. He's the only candidate who knows what is needed to get the economy back on track after all.
Assuming that the wealthy are often well educated, we *should* be able to assume many millionaires will resonate with Paul's message, which is backed by historical fact, Constitutional law, and common sense. We will see!

Think about it, wouldnt Clean Coal millionaires have something to gain from Ron Paul leveling the playing field in the energy industry? How many people have been muscled out of the stock market because of the Elite market manipulation? We as Ron Paul supporters have to keep knocking on doors so, eventually we can happen upon these kinds of people.
@LeJimster The only problem with a billionaire(not so much millionaire) is that they want to influence control and dictate on the things they are involved in. Maybe that is painting with too broad a brush, but wouldn't it be awesome just to have a complete overflow of grassroots little guys that overwhelm the whole rotten establishment? Ron Paul did not predict the housing collapse. He blamed the whole thing on the Federal Reserve which is like drowning your kids in the bath tub and blaming the water company. Ron Paul claims inflation is best measured by the price of gold. Then we've had annual rate of inflation of 20% for the past decade. Govt spending has increased 6.6% a year for the past decade. So govt spending has decreased 14% a year in inflation adjusted dollars by Ron Paul's math.

I think the reason states are putting their primaries earlier is because they see the popularity of Ron Paul increasing. They want to limit his exposure even further. The party makes the decision about primary dates. If you have to register 12 weeks before, people that haven't already switched to vote for Ron Paul may not be able to. New Hampshire is thinking about moving up their primaries to Dec 5. Every other early primary states have moved theirs up to early Jan.

I liked the message of that advertisement, but not the delivery. American's are primed and ready for an honest and virtuous leader, and Paul's campaign should be a dignified one to show them he is that man. American's are tired of negative campaigning. The ad has two different messages; the positives of who is Ron Paul, and the negatives of who is Romney and Perry. Both of these messages are important, but should be delivered separately.

All the other candidates are "plastic" because that is what is necessary to win a majority vote. Even if your policies were right, and they are not, you would need to make everybody a pseudo-expert to even understand what you're saying. Otherwise you must be "plastic" and manipulate the voters with propaganda, which the Paul crowds does despite its protestations to the contrary, but which Ron Paul himself seems to be too clumsy to do. He does try, tho, by calling the US an "empire" etc.

@amknafla I don't think there's any changing the fact that the political winners must win with a certain amount of manipulation. It's hard enough to reason with one person. You can't reason with 300,000,000, or whatever. Paul's followers on YouTube do the same thing. As for his "pure motives," I believe I can't know about that, but I assume he is genuine for the most part. I think his policies would be a disaster, even though he is intelligent. Intelligent people can honestly disagree.

Even though he doesn't necessarily LOOK like a president (even though looks SHOULD be irrelevant), I think people are really liking the fact that he is a genuine guy, and on top of that, he's a smart dude, has an amazingly consistent track record for defending the constitution, and his policies (contrary to your belief) make A LOT of sense. As a rational person I find it very difficult to argue against libertarianism.
