well if it is the parts with the channels it is because blue is not your darkest layer. I forgot to say that. Most of the time it is blue or red. So find darkest channel, then just go from there. If that's not your problem what is and i can help you.
what the HECK is default? keep saying hit default and i can't find it.

if u have a render. u can just press ctrl + u and then put the lightness to 0. and it will make it a sillouette
