  • I had Carvin build a custom build a CT6-24 to my specifications... That's the first point I want to make - they built what I wanted. From woods to neck radius, fret material and size, tuners, pickups, tremelo, neck inlays, nut, and unbelievable finish. All spot on, all 100% to my liking. But what matters most is playability and tone.... And this guitar matches my 1986 PRS Custom for feel and awesome tone. I would do it again in a heartbeat. And made in USA!!

  • I'm very interested in Carvin guitars and was wondering if anyone could answer my question. I seen some videos on YouTube that Carvin guitars have rough fret edges. Is that true? It really is a problem for me, they usually keep grabbing my fingers. Thanks.

  • @blm0724 Carvin's fret dressings are immaculate. These video posters are most likely living in dry climate areas which would make any guitar wood shrink over time, exposing the fret ends. The easy solution is to keep your instrument in a properly humidified space.

  • I'm very interested to learn how Carvin compares to PRS in terms of craftsmanship, quality control, etc. PRS does tons of these videos, and clearly take pride in the most minute details.

  • awesome vid!

I look at those guitars on the rack with its specs sticker and all i can help think that mine will be on one of those racks soon!!!!

Ordered a DC125 with a walnut top and a holdsworth headstock.

  • I ordered a Bolt Plus and DC 127 in 2011 which I had to return because of unfixable fret buzz. The finish on both guitars, however, was excellent. Total shipping costs and a pro guitar set on the second guitar costs me over $400. That’s $400 out the window and good deal of time wasted. Disappointed since most the guitars at half the price like Ibanez seldom have bad fret buzz. Maybe I just got 2 lemons. Probably my fault for buying something over the mail w/o trying it first. Buyer be warned.

  • I have a Carvin SC90. It is my fav. I own several Gibson, Fender USA's. My Carvin is my favorite. These are custom made USA guitars, at a fair price........CUSTOM! They are quality guitars, and amps, etc. I do not work for Carvin. I would like this company get the recognition it deserves. The promo dept. needs to change and improve its strategy. It bothers me to see so many guitars built in other countries, when you can buy the best here. Carvin has quality products, built here in the USA.

  • These are great vids! Thanks for sharing!

  • So cool! This is my favorite one of the series. Thanks for posting these!

  • This is just awesome. I went through the Gibson acoustic factory in Bozeman, MT a few years ago. Fantastic!! If you are ever near the Big Sky Country, where Kidpip calls home, make sure you swing over to see it. Absolutely fantastic to see these machines at work.

  • Cool tour. Thanks for sharing.

  • Oh my..! This is where guitars are born :D Thank you TK! Thank you! It means a whole lot to me to see this. I think about guitars, making guitars and designing guitars 24/7 so this is gold worth for me! :)

  • I think Music Man uses blades to cut the frets in the neck...

  • I got some good router action.

  • Thanks for the tour. I really want to get a custom carvin guitar someday. Better get saving.

  • No wonder it takes 8 weeks to get your guitar made. Looks like a company that takes great pride in their work. I wonder if the place is putting out product 24/7?

It took 9 weeks to get my EB Music Man JP-6 and I saw a video of their plant, USA Pride Baby, USA pride :-) Great job TK.

  • That place is HUGE! I wonder how far it is from one end to the other? Hope those people wear hearing protection. LOL Great vid.

  • I just ordered my V220 2 weeks ago I can't wait to get it!

  • Are there going to be any more videos at the Carvin factory, or is this it? I appreciate that you filmed this because I'm a huge fan of Carvin and I'm glad to see you spreading the word about them. Carvin doesn't get the credit they deserve alot of times.

  • @MrGamingGuitarist More on the way!!!

  • Amazing i love to see production of instruments its amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks TTK !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Very nice, Carvin is so under rated but play one and your sold on it! great job keep up the great work!

  • why is no one wearing any form of protective equipment? they are working in an enviroment that is high in wood splinters, yet no one wears goggles. very strange

  • Sweet!! It would be amazing if you make a factory tour video of Pearl, Tama, or Gretsch. Thanks for the video!!

  • Love getting the inside looks like this. Thank you for sharing.

  • Oh, that white guitar at 9:48! Something like that is going to be my next guitar!
