To be considered as a Rishi, you would have to have to perform severe penance and austerities. Have campaigns debating as many spiritual leaders. Write commentaries and introduce new knowledge.

Its after death that you are considered a Rishi.

A man who is the most spiritually enlightened is a Rishi.

In India a Rishi is someone who is taken very seriously. Hereditary lineages are named after Rishis. Similar to prophets of the Abrahamic religions.

Muhammad created the best system of economy for religion. You do whatever you want and make money but you have to give charity for your religion.

When you make money, you make money.

But when it comes to religion, no way. At the time you are a whole different person. Whatever your profession may be. Whatever of your expertise that you sell are irrelevent then. All are to worship God as equals.

To me JA is useful in the sense that he delivers Hinduism to the West in Western style.

@AkkiSantana yes i agree. but there are some useful aspects of islam IMO. we have always adopted strategies from our worst enemies. for example importance of meditation, yoga and vegetarianism from buddhism/jainism.

for a certain part of history jainism/buddhism did seem like enemies to sanatana dharma. but of course sanatana dharma is not an exclusivist religion that feels threatened or competes.

Hmm..he talks high of Hinduism, saying it is spiritualistic where as Western culture is materialistic. Funny thing is his website shows 150$ minimum for an hour of any type of consultation. You decide for yourself.

but on any theological scriptures of Sanathana Dharma especially the Bhagavad Gita then no way.
