start to 1:10 -- "Roseanne" could always spring a surprise on the audience, as in this clever and touching sequence. If dj is weird, then we should have more weird.

1:58 to 2:35 --- dopey daughters. Fred was a mere plot device that came and went. Jackie and Rosey's relationship went on forever.

there used to be a whole series of these commericals sponsored by milk in the mid 90s... i bet you could find one on YouTube somewhere. The point was there was this model, who was igmoring this little kid, who would say, "Hey, i know i may be small now, but i'm drinking milk--" jump to an older kid-- "and milk helps build strong muscles and bones--" jump to a 20-something year old kid-- "and one day, everyone will notice me" or something to that extent. they were CHEESY
