@mikeletz Life is good my friend. Very blessed. I always listen to the original of these songs so as not to be biased. Not sure Ginger outdoes the original but Johnny does. Ginger has a excellent voice, she was on Broadway. They did this song justice and some. Don't get too drunk Saturday night so you can take me to the picture show wink wink I love their version of Saturday Night at the Movies
@Tonithenightowl I have listened to Sha Na Na since they first appeared at Woodstock, and there are songs posted on You Tube I never heard Sha Na Na sing before. Thank God for You Tube!!!! It gives people a chance to meet someone as nice as you too. Have a great night! Mike
@mikeletz Mike, you were at Woodstock?????? I wanted to go but was only 15 at the time and that was a no go lol. But I did see the Doors in 67. @mikeletz Granted ppl were higher than kites, but what they didn't have, considering it was raining and half a million people soaked to the bone, was no fights what so ever. Pretty amazing.
I would have robbed a bank to pay someone off, to get me on that show, and have Johnny sing that to me and with me. I could have held my own with the female lead back in the day. Did I say that out loud?
This is a very wonderful pairing. Johnny has a beautiful voice well matched to the music and a Frankie Valli look working for him in this type of song. Ginger holds up her end very well to create a video that competes well with the original.
How did the 'comments on this video' disintegrate into a political forum?
