1 - Depending on the place you would like to live. Well, English is more widely spoken in the larger cities, but as soon as bulgarians are helpful people you won't have any problems at all.
2 - Also depending on the place. It could cost you a handful of pennies in a small village or up to 2000 euro in the center of Sofia.

@Ivanecat Градовете в БГ се делят на много големи с население над 200 000 и големи с население над 100 000.Можело е да сложиш Плевен и Сливен които са над 100 000 а не да разменяш местата на приетото подреждане
