So unless he goes independent, than yes it's over.

How many delegates did that 600,000 votes win him? 600,000 is a lot of people online and it makes it seem like he has a huge following, but 600,000 spread out over 50 states doesn't even dent the electorate. The republican nomination process as far as Paul is concerned is done. If Ron Paul is considering a independent run it would be wise to stop wasting resources on this nomination and get to work getting his name on the ballot as an independent.

uh, yeah it's over. I might not like it, but it's over. With Romney getting out most of those delegates will got to Huckabee and the rest will got to McCain. Huckabee has already said if he gets out he'll back McCain. By anybodies math that means it's over for Paul. By only getting 42 delegates, or whatever he's claiming, it's not even close enough to prevent McCain from getting enough delegates. Ron Paul Mathematically can't win the nomination. So unless he goes independent, than yes it's over.

I don't see him endorsing Ron Paul. He'll probably support Huckabee, who will support John McCain. Ron Paul didn't win one state. Had he won a state or at least gotten 100 delegates, maybe he would have some leverage and gotten some air time. There is no way he can even get the number of delegates McCain currently has now. It is currently a waste of time to pursue the Republican nomination. If he wants to run independent that's fine. This route to the White House is closed.

Never in the history of American elections has anyone ever been so blacklisted and won so many votes. NEVER ask the people who have been fighting this fight for YEARS and YEARS.

There aren't enough delegates for Ron Paul to get to catch up with John McCain, so unless Ron Paul runs as a independent than it's over. Huckabee said he'll support McCain, so even if by dumb luck he can convince Romney Delegates to back him he still won't have enough. John McCain will be the Republican nominee. End of Story. I don't like it and I wish he would have done better, but here's where I get off the train. I need to go lvl up my fire mage. Wasted enough time thinking this was possible.
