What a hell of a mess..it looks more like 1968 than it does 2011. Same chants different generation..I have this question to ask. WHAT IS THIS MOVEMENT'S AGENDA? WHAT PURPOSE DOES IT SERVE? @Paladin1441 It serves to get the community acknowledging that the US has a serious problem - it is run by corporations. Before we can fix special interest lobbying, predatory lending, corporate campaign financing, etc.....we the people have to admit there is a problem and talk about it openly. The fact that you are watching this material & conversing means the movement has achieved something, but it's a long way to go fixing problems that have been piling up for 30+ years.

This is not a movement for people who need leaders. This is not a movement for those who need an authority figure to tell them what to think. This is not a movement for those who need to be but crave being led around by the nose.

Systemic change doesn't come with clear demands set before the very people who benefit (profit) most from the system being exactly where it is now. Systemic change comes from open discourse. From speaking the truth no matter how scared we are of what may follow. We are not causing MORE harm. We are exposing the harm that has already been done behind closed doors by those we trusted to govern. Wake up, please?
