The $300 a year power savings and lack of Nvidia heat induced systems crashes every summer are well worth my investment in ATI cards. Unfortunately the poor guy I gave my old Nvidia card to lives in crash city now, as well, the other dude who got the previous Nvidia card has gone through 3 power supplies (I did tell him to buy decent PSUs)!

Plus the superior image quality, value, lack of BSOD. Even though the GTX570 are tempting, I'm not sure kind of accurately exploding crates are worth it.

pfff this gtx580 card is at stock settings 78c after gaming for 1 minute...now that sucks...my hd6950 2GB can be overclocked over 20% on the same heatlevel and then it's almost at the same performance level...the 1.5gb of the 580 is also not enough at this reso as you can see here..
