Hey nice video and very nice shooting.... as I watched you compete, I noticed that your reloads are very quick and consistent without too much extra movement. Can you please give an avid sports shooter like myself, some advice on quicker and consistent reloads? Is it true that for quicker reloads you should reload before the last round is fired from the chamber therefore allowing the feed to continue without having to rack the slide? I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE A REPLY... Thank you.
What's the best way to start in this, and what's the best priced but usable starting gun, in your opinion? I've just ordered Brian Enos practical shooting. I have an FNP tactical 45, but I don't think it's legal for one or practical for the other. I was considering the EAA Witness Stock. Thx.
@snappydoodad On choosing a gun you need to figure out what Division you want to shoot in. There is Production, Limited, Limited 10, Single Stack, Revolver and Open. In a couple of cases one gun will work across a couple divisions but not all. Ideally you would have 1 gun for each. But most likely that is not feasible. So I suggest starting with a Glock or some other reasonably priced gun with high cap mags.
@Maecky I don't believe there was many malfunctions (maybe 1). The rules of this game only allowed you to have 10 rounds in the magazines. So I have to reload constantly.
@junpower010 Its tons of fun. Except it ruins you for the stand and shoot public ranges. That kind of shooting becomes pretty boring once you've done the dynamic style.
@StagArmsFan It was loads of fun. I was sad that it moved from Oklahoma even though that was a long drive. Have you seen my Texas multigun Championships videos?
@123lilrasta I use Vita-Vori 3N37. I think I have about 9.4g in the 38super case. BUT my pistol is ported a whole bunch. I made a video on the STI pistols "a closer look" and one on the dillon 650 reloader. There may be some useful info there is you have time.
@secretaznmanx3 I'm using a custom STI with a C-more red dot. See my PLAYLISTS for more info on these guns. I made some videos about them plus posted some pictures of them on my NicTaylor00 facebook page.
did u know that the HK 416 costs 650,000 pesos while the HK G36 is at 600,000 pesos. thats already a brand new car. hahaha.. that's at least 14k US dollars for an assault rifle. damn expensive. so three gun for me, is just a dream. hehe..
@byulo11 Thanks! Be sure and check out my Texas Multigun videos. I tried to make it kinda "instructional" too. I think it kinda gives the viewer a little bot more understanding of what they are seeing. BTW, I'm ready too!
@nictaylor00 yeah, i saw all of them. hahaha.... im gona buy a shotgun too. still trying to save some money. hehe.. after that, il get myself an m4. then....three gun match. LOL
@byulo11 If you've never shot 3-gun before, don;t spend too much money at 1st. You can always upgrade later for better stuff. Check out the Remington 1100. There are tons of aftermarket 3gun stuff. Also, check out Delton for AR15 stuff. You can buy everything you need for less that $500 minus the stripped lower. RGuns usually has stripped lowers for less than $100.
@nictaylor00 thanks for the tip bro. unfortunately, i live in the Philippines, so im trying to look for something that is available here. usually, the prices here doubles on what it actually costs there. hehehe.... what do you think of the bushmaster m4?
@byulo11 That sucks! Only thing worse than paying inflated prices on guns is the inability to get one because some one decided they should be banned for your safety.
@thatguy1252 Thanks! Be sure and sub to see more videos like this and gun reviews. If your into hunting I also have a "hunting" channel, TEXASNATIVE00
that ProAm looks kind of interesting, i like the sound of the buzzer, 9 hour drive yeah that is pretty brutal i drove 9hrs to area 1,
you win that shootoff?
do they have different rules for open guns in ProAm? it doesnt seem like that open gun you had held that many rounds, 10 per mag no matter what division?
@FieldBoy111 You were limited to 10 rounds no matter what gun you shot. The shootoff was for time only. Your time determined any ties. I'm in Texas and it takes 7 or so hours just to get out of the state. That's why pretty much all my videos are in Texas. I did the Steel Challenge in California back in 2002-03, but I took a plane for that.
