Like this was anything new? Jacks d/f+2 is 14~15 frames and -15~-14 on block. Just look in the start where the "mid" text comes when Julia blocks it and compare it to the one when she has side stepped left before she blocks it. Pretty obvious huh?

The reason why this works is b/c Jack's d/f+2 blocked frames depend on the distance the opponent is from Jack. Disadvantage ranges from -15 (close) to -13 (far). By sidestepping left, you are essentially slightly closing in on the distance between you and Jack, thus making 15 frame punishers possible.
