I've got to say this: for a while now everything seems dreamlike to me, and watching Meeting People is Easy, it seems to be relating to me Very well. I don't want to feel surreal and dreamlike anymore, so I thought if I posted this it would go away, ps: thankyou Zedetnik for posting this wonderful documentary, I love it a lot! And God bless Thom Yorke, he's great!
The song at 6:38 is “follow me around” obviously, it wasn’t released. The song at the beginning is “pearly” and is on ‘How am I driving”. the music at 3:38 is not on any album and is not a b-side. I’m pretty sure it something they made for the movie, notice Thom’s got the head phones on, making beats on the computer. He probably made that while they where filming, or it was made later in postproduction by some one else. Not sure. I hope it turns up in the future though!
what's funny is you liked Creep then mesmerized by someone's copy of The Bends then numbed in the brain with ok computer then checked this film Meeting and had an enormous migraine you wanted to name Radiohead.
omg, I feel like i'm going to explote at 3:00 now, imagine how thom was feeling! (awfull) but then they're photographing the whole band and colin's like "ohh, how funny is this! " :P and thom's like -.-
and then at 9:34 the girl's like laughing at only god knows what, with jonny and his like "what? "
I am quite amazed at the fact that NONE of you has mentioned the beauty of the film itself! take a close look at the shots, the locations, the camera angles...it just captures the emotions of people in a take, and everything is then cut & pasted on a film like a puzzle...it's a magnificent piece of work, I've been looking to see it for years, thanks Grant Gee. And thanks to Thom, Ed, Phil, Colin and Jonny.
Ok ok maybe Exo by not Hysteria I would say Plug in baby too, but (the Hysteria part comes) sorry you're right Hysteria.......but RH is a bit better yes
correct me if im wrong, but didn't radiohead come before muse????? so wouldn't it be that muse's plug in baby sounds like radiohead's pearly (song at the start)?????
thats very pessimistic. i think the only way avoid that is to not stop acting in the way completely, but to constantly be aware (i think the lyric has to do with consumerism) and ask yourself do i need to do this? do i need to buy this? that's my view anyway, but who the fuck cares what i think
Yeah you are totally right. Maybe the only way to avoid it is to get to know more about it. But if we did end up thinking 'do I need this' for everything then we would no longer fit into society would we? We would be outcast
Do what you think is best to do. Dont do something cause everyone else is doing it but dont do something cause no one does it.... Do what you want to do.
What is the first song ? there is a song called "Time is running out" from muse sounds like Radiohead's

Thom is talking about the first world crippling the third world for profit.
what's happening now is the fat cats of the first world biting off the hand that feeds.

the antibiotics are the things that help us live
the cage is the laws both written and unwritten that keep us in check
and we are the pigs
so basically its about giving up your rights to survive
thats the dark and sinister answer that i just pulled out of my ass just now
