  • Great Vid have you done one on you K1600? I have the same GS and thinking of upgrading to a K1600 GT

  • @bbd777 Yep, click on my channel and you will find a similar video on the K1600GT.

    Cheers buddy.

  • Nope. No issues during 2 years+ in operation.

  • Ive been hearing alot of mixed reviews about the bmw r1200gs. Have you had any problems with your reliablility?

  • Was a great bike, powerful with a smooth reliable engine. Traded the gs in 2 months ago for a different model coming out in 2011.

  • how do you find the BMWr1200gs?

  • Nononooooo, you should come to Amsterdam and spend a little. Good for our economy. :)

  • holy cow, ive already seen all of Amsterdam. saves me a plane trip.

  • He, Leuke video! Zwaai ff als je een grijze Vstrom tegen komt daar in de buurt =)

  • Great video, music, bike and city. I really enjoyed watching it

  • Cool video .. love Amsterdam as well, very cool city !

  • Nice Drive! How did you mount the Camera? I have a small Sony that records FullHD and am looking for a way to put it on my Helmet.

  • @freerk The camera is mounted with the goggle mount to the left side of my helmet. The goggle mount was included, the enduro goggles I got seperately.

  • @freerk FYI I probably have the same Sony cam. (HX5V) I wouldn't attach it to a helmet. If I would want to use the HX5V to film, I would mount it with a steering wheel bracket with a camera thread.

  • @herrdirektor1969 THX for the info. I have a TX7 and already tried to mount it to the steering, the Nose or the Fork of my F800GS. At higher RPM the vibrations become to heavy and the picture is slightly shaking. Thats why i wanted to give it a try on my helmet.

  • @freerk Moreover the vibrations may quickly lead to damage if used frequently. These point and shoot cams, or any other comparable model are not built for this level of abuse. I got my Vholdr Action cam (model: ContourHD-720p) during a sale, well below 200 Eur. It is shock proof and water resistent too. For about a hundred bucks more you should be able to find the 1080p HD model.

The TX7 is a nice cam, for in your pocket !

  • that is some crazy street riding!

  • Usually, riding bigger cc motorcycle in such a jammed traffic might not be fun,

but on this bike, and for you, it seems fun and enjoyable.

    you ride GS like bicycle!

    Great vid!

  • @yasagureR

    You see this correctly.

Due to the suspension (with ESA), bigger wheels and the balance this machine offers, fun is an understatement. The worse the conditions, obstacles or roads get, the more you enjoy riding it. :))))

  • @herrdirektor1969

    Yeah, it seems that's true!

For me, this vid makes me realise the new way to enjoy biking.

Currently I love to ride at curvy mountain road or racetrack, I still love it.

But recently, I've started thinking of new way to enjoy biking at more relaxed or chilled out way.

Your vid is very inspiring for me.

    Thanks for posting.

  • realy good vid car'nt wait for some warm weather an i'l be out on my gs soon keep the vids comeing

  • What's the first song?

  • @techvigator

Hot Air Balloon - Owl City

  • @herrdirektor1969

Great video thank you for posting. It will be my new motorcycle too ;-)
