Considering how the metals react to the EURO, I think there will be a short period where metals really tank before the Fed doesn't a massive infusion and sky rockets them. Just my humble opinion. I just have a hard time believing metals will do much early next year due to this. You think they will sky rocket first half January before they crash? Just your opinion :)
I would hardly call a 300 or 400+ point drop on the Dow a disaster. It happens about once or twice a month now since the summer. Or are you saying this is the first of a series of big down days, like what started happening in July of 2008 before everything melted down?
from 1900-1929 silver .58c avg. 1800's about 1.30c a ounce 1930-1941 .3 to .41c. it did not break 1.00 untill 1961. why is now different than then? cell phones use silver. You'll find all these silver Touts disappear. they all have hidden motives. silver will drop to teens. gold to 1000. expect it.
What do you mean about silver and gold? Do you mean it won't go way down for the rest of the year?
