  • Watch this video:

    youtube[dot]com/excelisfun

    It shows how to find all 1500 Excel videos that i have created and it shows how to find the playlists of videos for certain topics.

  • Hello... could you help me ?

    this is what i am trying to do:

    let us suppose that we have three cells: A1 B1 C1

    C1=A1-B1 but i wanna add this "if A1<B1 C1 will be 0"

    So i will not get negative numbers in the cell C1 ?

    how can i do that ?

  • In cell C1 Try:

    =IF(A1<B1,0,A1-B1)

  • @ExcelIsFun it did not work, it gave me error message, i am using office 2010

  • I do not know how to do it then. Sorry.

  • @ExcelIsFun I am sorry you are right, but you should use Semicolon ( ; ) instead of Comma ( , )

    anyway thanks for help :)

  • I downloaded the workbook but there is are no more worksheets for this series in there. The las worksheet I have is Filter, no more IF and no VLOOKUP. Which worksheet do I have to download to use for the videos from #22 and beyond? Thanks a lot!

  • Try the link now and see if it works. If it is not, please let me know.

  • Thank you so very much! I watched many of your videos to get me through many assignments that I have had to do for an online computer class. It has been a while since I did anything with Excel. I was so stressed about how I was going to figure it all out on my own but I found your videos and you helped me out so much!!! Thanks again!

  • You are welcome!

  • Im doing a survey in which i have to find out if it is healthy or unhealthy and i use this formula

    =IF(J1>=620,Unhealthy,Healthy)

    and then microsoft says theres a error with the "IF" part what do i do

  • You have to put text in double quotes, like:

    =IF(J1>=620,"Unhealthy","Healthy")

    The video illustrates the concept of Double Quotes for text in the "In Balance" example.

  • @ExcelIsFun

  • u r best teacher in whole universe

  • I am glad it helps!

  • And what if a cell doesn't contain an exact match? For ex. what if I want to match just only the date 2011-01-04,17:13:15 and not the hours?

  • Without more detail about your setup, I am not sure.

    But maybe, if Date-Time in A1, maybe something like this:

    =IF(INT(A1)=DATE(2011,1,4),value_if_true,value_if_false)

  • I can understand your lesson a lot better than my teacher;Thank you!

  • waitt.. did you put the extra penny there to prove a point or does it happen automatically and u need to fix it?

  • What minute are you referring to in the video?

  • i'm learning a lot from your videos, thanks a lot! btw, could u pls help me... i'm calculating the grades of my students. i had already calculated their average grades. now i want to assign a "letter grade" to each corresponding average grades, ie: A = 90 to 100, B = 80 to 89, C = 70 to 79, D = 60 to 69, F = 59 - 0. thanks in advance for your help

  • Don't use IF, use VLOOKUP.

    Serach YouTube for "excelisfun", then click on the link to go to my channel, then click on the link for the playlist that says "Search & Find Excel Videos, Playlists, Download Workbooks - excelisfun "

    That video will show how to find the playlists all about VLOOKUP for grades - I have about 5 different videos for five different grading situations.
