you can choose what ever you want. engine, transmition, wheels, exterour/interiour designe (sport or something). check it at auti(dot)com or (dot)de . the konfugurator shows our everthing you can choose. the a4 and the s4 are different models. nearly the same but the s4 is more sporty. the a4s is just the a4 with a sports packet. such as a different body kit, suspension aso

Thanks for the reply Sheldon, I asked around and in fact called a couple of mechanics, and they recommended BMW as they thought Audi is still redeaming it's image and they are maturing in that area, so hope BMW is better and with less maint. cost as so many automechnics seem to prefer it so they might charge less since they know it better I thought...oh...welll...both are good cars...thx again.

Oh god yes audis are beautiful cars,but with high maintnence.we have a 2006 audi a4 and the warranty ran out and every time we bring it in for its maintnence it cost 400$

what a load of BS, if you are not able to look after your car and trash it then yes any car will be high maintenance, Audi's are reliable and apart from regular yearly inspection they are top shelf. perhaps you are better off with a horse and cart.
