The crashes in this game are bad for two reasons in my opinion:

1. The body and rear wing can't be damaged and the whole car in general (apart from the front wing) is far too firm..

2. The walls and barriers are far too hard. The cars needs to go sort of in them, but it always bounces off.

1:30, 2:50, while the body stays intact, as it should to protect the driver, it's obvious it has taken extensive damage.

carbon fiber is strong, but not indestructible. and obviously i'm not talking about have it crumple like a piece of paper, but in a violent impact, the body should show some slight deformity.

@RottenAppleSeeds I know you put this up 3 weeks ago, but they cant add crumpling effects as the teams use the game as an advertisment, therefore they want their cars to look the best as possible and for the sponsors to be clear at ALL times, so, what they do is just about all they can do concerning crashing and damage. Hope this helped you understand why they cant add it.

Nah, i hate it, that the rear wing is stable as nothing... You can hit it with 200 Kmh and nothing happens... not so realistic. I have to admit, yes, the colision model is obvious much better than in F1C 99-02 but it was more realistic back then.

me and my mate were playing this last night on split screen, we managed to get petrov about 80ft into the air on monaco - he came into the back of petrov as his car was a couple of ft in the air at 160mph and cos petrov was stuck on the back of my car on turn 1 - he went absolutely flying - it was the funniest thing iv seen ona racing game wish we couldv saved the replay :(
