WOW !!! Brilliant Piece of Music...I still love listening to their stuff all these yrs. later...England has the best bands in the world(in my Opinion).
I`ve never heard a `sound` come close to this - or any Ride album. GBA is a bible. Even in my thirties these tracks are ran along to and pressed to at gym!! Shouted/sung along with in car... :o)
Ride should have been huge and its a embarrassment to this country that they were not, but still some of us discovered them and they will for ever be a part of us.
why is it, that every time i hear ride i think: wow, there was and is simply no better band - ever? probably because they are. they're unique, unmatched. and a great live band - still remember that ringing in my ears after one of their concerts back in 1992.
This song, along with "Like A Daydream", "Drive Blind" &" Beneath" are the ones I listen to while on the crosstrainer at our local gym. Gives me an extra boost of energy!
The ultimate synthesis of psychedelic rock and power pop. Dueling fuzzed-out guitar layered underneath blended harmonies/dual lead singers with a rock steady rhythm section and the volume nob twisted all the way to 11 and ripped off.

"Blue" is my favorite Ride song. But they have about 20 songs that could make any top 100 indie/shoegazinf lists.

The drummer from Ride is really good but don't forget about Alan Reni Wren from the Stone Roses.
